So the cast list has been posted and it's rather odd that for a 97 day season, there is only 14 HGs.

Based on the very limited information that I saw while I post this (Name, age, job, hometown) it looks quite interesting but there is a major letdown in that the cast is quite young. There isn't even a token older person.

It is indeed odd that there are only 14. I'm expecting either a couple of major twists or potentially a couple of houseguests missing (returnees?)

I don't get why CBS recruits half of the cast. I understand if they want to recruit the odd person or two but this is just stupid.

I don't get how Robin Kass and her people gets such an amazing BBCan cast but drops the ball for BBUS

YES. I'd love to apply for a future season, but I feel like because of this kind of casting... It turns me away from doing so.

Its like bbcan 3 all over again

I am guessing it's the takeover twist (sorry can't see because of geo-block)

I feel like it depends on execution of the twists and there are a few thing to do if they don't want to end up BBC3 and to end up more like BBC2;which had its fair share of twists which were executed well, which was part of the reason it's the best of the 3 Canadian seasons)
1) Don't change nominations on eviction night. No Secret PoV or Coups, unless these powers are exicised earlier in the week (veto cermoney?), to allow the nominated people to strategise about the vote.
2) No revealing of secret powers 10 minutes before they have to be used. If there is a special veto (like Brunio's 2x Veto) up for grabs, tell everyone at the start of the competition what they are playing for to allow everyone to strategise around it.
3) No revealing what should be private conversations (ie no one should be Topazed). While it was fun to watch Ika and Topaz get screwed over because of letting the others hear them think about nominations or letters from home, it does screw over their game and I don't like to see that.

Also, just a minor thing, don't do too many Public Vote twsts. I feel like they a nice little touch to differentiate the Candian show from the U.S. show

I feel like the room they are changing it the coral room. It's never the front room and apparently they got a comic book illustrator for the comic book room, which would have been a waist of that ends up being the have-not room.
