I don't think going to Europe is the SHOCKING announcement, and that's not just because this is a spoiler board and we all knew that they went to Europe before they finished filming. Teams have already gone abroad, so more international travel shouldn't be shocking to the casual audience.

With the flack they have been getting on social media for leaving Canada, yes. They have to put a spin on it now. Plus, the teams (at this point in filming) and casual viewers think they are in Canada for the remainder of the race.

Guessed it! Thanks for polish word in the title of the episode, but anyways The cheese and potato thing is definitely about the filling - this kind of pierogies are called russian in Poland and are one of the traditional meals
