we obviously wont know for sure how the cast is until we get to watch...but based on pictures and only pictures; it looks like a great cast.

Amy and Maya are both working on their PhDs at UW-Madison….from the looks of it madison is really high up in the food science world---i bet those girls are pretty smart!

I also think they are a very smart team like Nat & Kat, hopefully they go far, I can see them making to the final6
Maya is 28 or 29, I am surprised, I thought they were in their early 20s

I think Amy is 24/25….it appears she is early in her PhD…Maya has been working on hers for a while but they work in the same lab.

Whitney Duncan was on Say Yes to the Dress a few weekends ago:

It's diverse IMO. We have food scientists, married surfers (and a racer without an arm), firefighters, pro wrestlers, an Asian couple, college sweethearts (ew, but i hope to see them go far), dentists, and cycling gals this season. :)

I believe I found something about Te Jay, the purple shirt of the college sweethearts.
According to Stage Agent, Te Jay McGrath is from Hawaiian descent (we have another! :hoot:) and is a musical theatre performer. He dreams of performing in bigger show productions. Well now, he does! Time to perform as well as he can in the race! :funny:

Just curious what you mean by this?  Do you mean your not usually used to / in the company of gays?
Personally, I know a couple of gays / lesbians, but only know them, and am not normally in the company of gays either, but I don't know why their relationship status would annoy you?
It's very normal for 2 people of the same sex to be in a relationship and in no way should annoy people.  :)

EDIT: Also, did you feel similar towards all the other gay / lesbians that were on the race? I'm genuinely interested.  :)

I have to say, for one, that I am impressed and applaud TAR for introducing Bethany to TAR25's cast because she was an inspiration when I was a kid. I remember hearing her story and everyone being afraid of swimming in the ocean and everyone checking the chances of shark attack before hitting the shores, but she assured everyone that everything was alright and so I really hope that her "disability" doesn't outshine her positive attitude and that she does well.

100% rooting for Bethany & Adam this season! Takes an extreme amount of perseverance to overcome a traumatic experience from a childhood hobby and continue doing the activity. :luvya:

All I'm praying is a good edit for them! I hope the TAR Editors won't stick it in our faces about her arm every single leg (ala Dave/Connor). Otherwise, still rooting for her either way. :)
