The Most Dangerous Moments in The Amazing Race
NMC:
I'm not too sure if there's already a thread for this? ???
But after watching last weeks episode (TAR 24 Leg 3) and seen how potentially dangerous the rafting challenge was, I began to think of other dangerous tasks or moments in TAR.
So my question, what do you think are the most dangerous moments in TAR? This can be for any version and not just the US.
For me, I would have to say Brian & Greg crashing their vehicle in Season 7 was pretty chaotic, especially as the camera man could have been fatally injured.
And of course, the famous Watermelon in Season 17.
David:
Some water challenges? IDK. TAR 6 FF was lame, but the suit to go underwater was sooo heavy and it could lead to trouble.
The paddling things in wild rivers also excite me, as they show contestants at risk. I think the Race is meant to have such tasks
Alenaveda:
The Fast Forward in the cooling tower from the leg 5 of TAR7.
Jobby:
Every skydiving challenge in TAR. It doesn't look dangerous at all on TV but always it's the one challenge which has a really high possibility of going wrong.
RachelLeVega:
The "Tunnel" Detour in TAR7, on Leg 5 (Argentina --> South Africa), where teams had to search for a clue in cavernous pitch darkness. It's among the most dangerous tasks ever aired. Remember, Gretchen had to get stitches after injuring herself in there. :o
As for dangerous moments, it's a tie between Brian & Greg's SUV rollover and the Weavers losing control of their Amish Buggy in the first Leg. TAR5's starting line trample is a critical mention as well.
