After researching for the Pit Stop on Google Maps, only Pulau Gaya holds stilt housing in the South China Sea. If you zoom in on what appears to be the south-easternmost point of the island, there are a cluster of roofs near the shoreline.
In georgiapeach's front view of Joey & Meghan, the background contains a notable bridge structure, stilt houses, and what appears to be palm trees behind the housing on the photo right side of Meghan. The palm trees are important because it provides information of how near the Pit Stop is to the sand. In David's "mugshot-style" view, note the EVEN CLOSER view of trees in the background and a pathway between residencies like an apartment complex. Both perspectives contain open paths for small boats to travel through.
I'd say the Pit Stop is vaguely located in the northwestern part of the village as I can only see roofs of the village in Maps. Plus, bridges are scattered among.
