I don't know if this belongs here or in the timeline area, but it is SPECULATION!
The difference in time is really messing me up (by the way, don't tweet that or some World Clock page will start following you on twitter), but...
Yesterday I saw this
atut #ASHMEGO @rabbyAG 24 Nov
Waaah got amazing race people at airport
{{Details show 9:30 p.m. - which should be 11:30 a.m. in Singapore on 11/25}}
It now shows Nov 24, but yesterday it showed a few hours when I first tweeted her (would have been late on the 24th in the US). This should be 11/24 for me, but 11/25 for the racers, if I understand right.
Because today I got this...
atut #ASHMEGO @rabbyAG 7h
@MelindaMathis88 sorry for the late reply! Singapore's Changi Airport and I wasn't there I just saw people tweeting
This morning, I asked her if she knew how many teams and to confirm which day. She tweeted the following back right before she went to bed.
atut #ASHMEGO @rabbyAG 2h
@MelindaMathis88 not sure, it was yesterday, 25th. sorry not much of a help!
I have tweeted back fro her to confirm it was in the a.m. or the p.m., but she tweeted not long after the one above that she was going to bed, so I may not hear back for a bit.
In Sri Lanka there are 11.5 hours ahead of us, in Singapore they should be 14 hours ahead of us? Right now I have 12:35 p.m. on 11/26 and it is 2:34 a.m. on 11/27 there. Her tweet several hours ago would have been right before midnight...so she was still on 11/26, but barely.
At first I discounted this info, but the more I think on it...
- I first thought maybe this was people spotting Margie/Luke and Brenchel, but it would conflict with what we know about them mostly likely getting in to Sri Lanka early on the 24th.
- Then I remembered there was an Amazing Race comp of some type in Singapore over the weekend...but I think this tweet and at least one other I see on twitter may actually have been a sighting. If there were Amazing Race teams at the airport on Monday around 11:30 a.m., Singapore time the local race was over.
So...am I grasping at straws? Am I making sense? Did they possibly catch flights out of Singapore's Changi Airport yesterday on 11/25. If nothing else it tells us they didn't have two legs in Colombo.
