Elimination Interview: Ally and Ashley Posted on Nov 25, 2013 11:35am
See what Ally and Ashley said about their time in the Race and if they are still close to Leo and Jamal!
Brett S: Are you upset with Jason and Amy for helping Nicole and Travis? Knowing that without the help you would still be in the race?
Ally/Ashley: We're not upset with Amy...we're more upset with the way Nicole went about it. We have some unfinished business there!
Vicki L: What was the biggest surprise in competing for the Amazing Race?
Ashley: Honestly, the whole thing was a surprise because you have no idea what you're getting yourself into.
Ally: Our biggest surprise was finding out we were such a strong team. We knew we were intelligent and athletic but knowing we were able to beat out 4 strong male/male teams - Oklahoma, Bingo, Football players and the Beards was awesome.
Harry B: How long did it take you to do the detour?
Ally/Ashley: Probably an hour and fifteen minutes.
Wendy W: What was your favorite challenge on the race? What was your least favorite?
Ashley/Ally: Our favorite was getting to polka dance in Poland because we love to dance and our least favorite was the sugar canes & watermelon.
Greg M: Is there anything during the race that you regret doing or wish you had done differently?
Ally/Ashley: No, we're very happy with the way that we raced. We felt that we were honest throughout the race and we're glad to have represented The Kings in a honorable way. The one thing we wish we could have done differently was to choose the other detour.
Julia T: What was your favorite country you traveled to, and which task was your favorite one to complete?
Ashley: My favorite country was Vienna and Abu Dhabi and my favorite task was jumping off the bridge into the Arctic Ocean.
Ally: My favorite country was Portugal and my favorite task was paragliding over Chile.
Hamoon H:Are you still in contact with Leo and Jamal?
Ashley/Ally: oh yes, very much so. We are just as close to them outside of the race if not closer. We've even watched a few of the episodes together with our families.
Ted N: If the taxi wouldn't let you carry the sugar cane, why didn't you get a different cab to take you?
Ashley: It would have taken a lot of time to find another taxi we could take. Also, it was hard to even have a driver be ok with putting fruit into their car.
