Yes, there is a lot of M/M teams this season, but I don't know if it's necessarily a bad thing
The only pair that I would consider "Alpha-male" would be the African-American dudes
Afghanimals, Rockers, new pair, and the pair of average looking college guys just doesn't fit the bill for "the overly fit, going to dominate the physical tasks and always be near the front of the pack due to their strength, speed, and stamina" type team.
Pair that up with 2 (could've probably had another) seemingly tough and fit F/F teams, two young, and fit looking M/F couples, plus 2 older (at least one of them in the other African-American couple) teams that seem like they can hold their own, I think it's a decently fair mix.
Plus, most of the M/M teams seem to be unique and quirky- the other teams (F/F, and M/F) look kinda generic to me, personally...
