There are actually three flights from Guam to Manila that arrive within 2 hours of each other, so maybe all teams are on the LAX-Guam flight and then are split up.

I like your idea. Isn't this the same thing they did in TAR 20. All teams were on same flight to Miami and then split onto two flights to BsAs?
If they split the teams into two different routes.......the only one I can see is the following.......and it is predicated on the assumption that the teams on the LAX-MNL route are the tail end charlies........
Either of these flights from LAX to YVR....
WS 1699 745pm-1027pm or
AC 557 800pm-1045pm
then YVR-MNL
PR 107 1230 am - 530 am
This would give the lead teams a 25 minute head start.......but I really think the split is in Guam as proposed by redwings8831
There is another possible route.......LAX>PEK>MNL.....but it only has a scheduled 30 minute connection time in Beijing.....too short for TAR to book on opening leg I believe.
