It does make the question useless. However if you make the choice an automatic wrong then you might as well delete it. So either the question is useless or the choice is useless. Also, free points basically means the question is worth zero because everyone is the same.
Physics alone is not enough.

Shouldn't Jet & Cord be included in the list of teams in questions 13-15 (and do I get nagging points for spotting this)?

10.  5 Points -  Who does the roadblock?

Herb
Nate
I don't know which one is Flight Time and which one is Big Easy
There is no roadblock

mswood, how will this question be scored if one selects the third option. Would that be an automatic correct or automatic incorrect? I don't see how it could be anything else.

I think the third answer should not be counted as correct mswood, that would be unfair for people who actually picked the correct person. Just my 2 cents worth. If people want to pick the third option, they mind as well try their luck with either of the first 2 options?

I 100% agree with Joab. Unless we're shown promos showing who actually does it, then it's pretty much a blind guess which one of them completes the roadblock. It doesn't matter if you don't know who is who, it's just guessing.

If you allow that case, then the answer "Christie and Jodi" should be correct for Q14. Would we get the points for guessing that? I think that just defeats the purpose of the question and isn't fair to those who actually guessed the right answer.

My questions unless specifically included in the question (like the question on Peach's score) should always have an answer thats provided by the episodes themselves.

Herb and Nate are not referred to by name so far this season, thus why I included the 3 option.  As I don't require fans to know materials that are from outside sources unless specifically addressed in the body of the question itself.

Now Jet & Cord or Jaime & Cara are of course referred to in the episodes and credits, so people have the opportunity in the episode to know who is who.

It is basically designed as the Bonus question this week.

The inclusion of Jody & Christy is just my way of voicing a common point brought up about the casting of this season.  I strongly recommend that you don't pick that option.

Enjoy the joke answers for what they are- Joke answers.

Obviously the inclusion of Christie & Jody is a joke answer, so lets just enjoy it for that.

Thank You.  THey have been added as options to the game.

And you raise a good point, should corrections necessary to the game (not just common spelling errors) should get a bonus.  I have never done that before.  I already in the first episode had someone had an option (and it ended up being the correct option).

So lets here from the peanut gallery.

Thanks and corrected.  I spell it wrong once and the system will repeat it every time their name is on the same line.

I'm sorry Prophet, i'm definitely sure mswood (and many others) would be more than happy enough if you choose not to answer the free points question because they're definitely not worth zero if you don't pick an answer. :)

No, it is our pleasure to assist you to get the game options right as it helps both you and all other players BEFORE A ROUND IS SCORED. Nagging points should only be awarded for other cases such as miscalculation of points or you overlooking the answer to a particular question.

Previously i thought the Herb and Nate question was pretty obvious since we do know who's the one doing it. But mswood brought out a very good point and i respect mswood's decision as a host.

As for Joke Answers. It's pretty obvious that they are wrong answers. If you want to pick them, then go ahead because it's your own loss. :lol3:

3.  5 Points -  Teams must perform a task with a Yak.  Does the same racer have to saddle the Yak and be the racer who mounts it (ok that sounded really bad)?

Sorry, but I don't understand this question. If anyone can clarify this question, I would appreciate it.

Not a problem.

Between web clues and pre pictures we know racers have to saddle a Yak (meaning put a blanket or saddle on the Yak (whatever it is), then we see a racer sitting on top the saddle.  Ie mounting the Yak.

So the question is does the same racer (lets use a cowboy), Cord both saddle the Yak and ride it.  Or is it a task where Jet saddles it and Cord rides it.

There is a third possibility: Both racers have to do something with the saddling but only one rides it. Or even they both ride a yak, but it is not shown in the promo.

So I thought that "No" covers all these possibilities.

No would cover those other possibilities.  And of course its also possible that both have to do the full tasks, which would be a yes.
