If we see (for example) Zev holding the clue that contains the Detour, but we don't see him pull it out of the cluebox, what happens? Would the last option cover that?

I think if it's obvious that Zev and Justin are the first team there and the only ones to reach the Cluebox first, if the scene of them taking a clue out of the cluebox first was omitted and the next shot of them shows them with the clue, then i think there will be 2 answers. One which is the team member who took the Detour clue first and second, we do not see the first team take the clue from the cluebox.

But if it's a rush, like in the China Leg 1 where we had so many teams rushing for the Roadblock clue and no placements or whatsoever.. then i think the we do not see the first team take the clue from the cluebox option is valid...

Hard to explain :lol: :lol: :lol: But we'll know when the episode is shown.

If we see zev & justin rush to the box (clearly there by themselves) and then switch to us seeing Justin with the clue.  Well then the answer would be

We don't see the first team take a clue from the cluebox

Because we don't see it.
