Once teams arrive in Oman which person is the first one we see holding a clue (Can't be clue packet).  So it wouldn't be them leaving Russia (not in the right country).

FIrst clue (fromOman)  So if a team holds out the first route marker from the starting point once landing in Oman it wouldn't count.  Needs to be the first clue teams have a chance to get to in Oman.

Okat I was asked to clarify this question, but I did so very late on Sunday, I clarified the first clue opened in Oman.  Since I did this so late I will award points for the first racer with a clue (be it old or new), and the first person with a new clue.

I almost put checked in, but left it this way just to.   I almost asked this as the follow question.  Is the team that checks in as Team Number 1, but since I was doing something similar to the last place team (and I actually thought Gary & Mallory would be hours behind everyone, and might get eliminated without ever making it to the Mat.)
