After reading the timeline, and the possible teams eliminated, I'm sure the team in the u-turn picture is definetly joe and heidi which means they are most likely eliminated.

It's no surprise considering they are a pretty strong team.

i just saw from wikipedia, that team that got blind u-turn is joe and heidi, wikipedia just ACCIDENTALLY update the team's position on leg 5 and show that joe and heidi is in 8th place, but when I checked back just now, his writings have been deleted. how lucky I am!

Looks more like Joe and Heidi to me. The woman's face is more oval and that's more in line with Heidi. Allie's face is rounder.

Edit: Plus if you look at the woman, she's leaning toward the other person. It matches with Joe and Heidi's picture on CBS's website.

I'll agree, thanks to puddin's screencaps, that it's probably Joe & Heidi.

In the insider videos for the first three episodes, there has always been at least one video where Louie & Michael and/or Dan & Jordan have bashed Joe. (They seem to be as obsessed with Joe as Lynn & Alex and Susan & Patrick were about Rob & Amber.)

The team photos on the CBS website have always been used by the teams for the U-Turn and the Yield since they were introduced.

While the U-Turn may or may not cause an elimination (some teams have managed to escape), the fact that we have a different team doing the speed bump makes this more interesting.

Ooh. One of the new insider videos has Dan and Jordan talking about U-turning Joe and Heidi the first chance they get. And Carol and Brandy were also offended. Makes it sure sound like Joe and Heidi are U-turned next.

I have to agree about the picture being Joe & Heidi.

I have been rethinking transportation from Hamburg to Lille. It can be done by train, which is good since the driving distance is 356 miles. Here is the best schedule:

Train 515    5:38AM (note - there is an earlier train at 523am but there wold be no little gain from taking it)

There are other trains, but they tend to have outlandish out-of-the-way routes and much longer transit times.

The above suggests that maybe teams flew from Hamburg to Lille. That is a reasonable option. Here are the schedules:

If Joe & Heidi are the targets, it's most likely either because Joe & Heidi helped Carol & Brandy at the expense of the other teams in episode 2 (Dan & Jordan and Louie & Michael) or because Joe & Heidi chose to align with Steve & Allie last time (Carol & Brandy).

Just going to put my 2 cents in, and say that the plane is a German Fokker Triplane, same type used by Baron von Richthofen (Red Baron). He was shot down near Amiens, France. That's about it. This trench could be anywhere, but it does look too new and shiny, kind of like a movie set or theme park... hmmmmm

OK, enough with the spreculation. Can't really spoil trees and dirt.

I think that assault course is a detour actually: It looks like right after they finish the assault course, then the U-Turn appears. But I can't find any assault courses in France...
