"Route Info"(Blue Envelope) has never been considered a "general task".  Obviously, the route info was to lead the teams to Beatle-Platz where they would find a "general task" (yellow envelope) which would lead them around the area and finally to another location where they would receive the Route Info taking them to the pit stop at the Beattle Bar.  But you can tell this part of the route info was edited out.  None of the teams finish reading the clue and are cut off after reading "Proceed to Beatle-Platz"   

So since this is a route info bit and not a general task, the correct answer for this question should be NONE OF THE ABOVE.

But isn't a general task any task that is not a detour, roadblock, fast-forward, or pit stop. In this case, going to Beatles-Platz is none of these, as Indra is the pit stop. Thus, it should be a general task.

Amen. Gman's reasoning doesn't make sense to me. Detours, U-turns, and Yields (oh my!) are yellow, but not general tasks. General tasks are miscellaneous ones in Route Info clues.

I disagree. A "General Task" is something like the Beer Boot task. The Beetles is more like a transport task not general.

Then what is the difference between these two route-infos? A general task is a task that does not fall under any category of: Roadblock, Fast Forward, Pit Stop, or Detour. Thus, it must be a general-task.

Yes there was a general task in there, but there was also a task of getting to the pit stop (let alone the pit stop itself) which was Beatle's related.

since there were multiple clues/tasks/whatever that dealt with the Beatles, there is room for multiple correct answers (which in my opinion there were).

You guys are misinterpreting me. Basically, I jumped at what G-man said: he claims there was a general task involving the Beatles, just it wasn't shown on the screen. The question itself never clarified if we had to see this task.

NOTICE

This week for most of the US is Daylights savings time.  And as such we will spring forward.  Last year we noticed that the clock for the game did not change.  As such the game will end 5 minutes before the episode airs on the east coast of the US no matter what the game clock actually reads.  I will be watching it and make any changes if necessary to keep the game open (and closed) when it should be.

Because of the early cut off time several people didn't get their picks in, I wish I had that excuse for my performance.....

On the issue of the Beatles task.  I ruled that it was "None of the above"    I went back through last year and couldn't find anytime where just finding a location was considered a general task.  And while they might have actually had to do something there (it wasn't shown during the episode) and one of the rules at the start is that unless the question refers to something outside of the episode (like the Elimination station for example) then we have to go on footage from the episode.
