--- Quote ---At Dubai’s Gold Souk, gold is sold according to weight – except for very light pieces of jewellery. One gram of 22-carat gold costs around 10 dollars, duty-free. Bargaining is often possible, especially when intending to buy several pieces at once. With larger purchases, customers receive small gold gifts as complimentary give-aways.

Something like we'll take 2 grammes?

or how about something more evil (ala BVM).... what if the scale is calibrated in "grams" and they are told to weigh out X "ounces" of gold. Are they smart enough to know that 1 oz. = 28 grams?   (:;)  truly evil..

On the question of taxis:

Teams took white U-drive vehicles from Ski Dubai to the Souk. I saw the car the Globetrotters were driving as wel as the one Sam/Dan were driving near the end of last Sunday's telecast. Why would they abandon them and take a taxi? I think they still have those cars.

That would be cruel...
or how about finding one gold piece in the pile which is of a different weight?

I'd say this shot of Gary was taken at the previous leg's Pit Stop location.
