TAR15 EP1506 " Do It for the Hood! Do It for the Suburbs" (Dubai)

Boingo:
;D Just a few observations about Team Zebra and their gold.  I see a scale and what looks like a calculator, along with lots of bullion in the form of blank coins and bars.  NONE of the gold has any markings of any kind.  Typically bullion carries the weight and fineness on it.

Are the teams required to guess the weight of a specific amount of gold?  And were these gold pieces made especially for TAR?   :ascared  Way cool if they were.   :snicker:

Just looking through the store window, it appears to be a modern mall of some kind, rather than the chaotic souk.  Perhaps they are in the nearby Gold Centre Building, instead of the actual older gold souk.  :duno:

puddin:
I think they are in the newer extension of the Gold Souk as well Boingo from the pictures and videos I viewed on-line.

georgiapeach:
I was wondering if Brian is negotiating for an amount...he is holding up two fingers.

Unless he is just saying peace out bros... :lol3:

Speaking of new gold centres. here's a time lapse video that's as exciting as watching paint dry...   :snicker:

georgiapeach:
 Hmmm...
--- Quote ---At Dubai’s Gold Souk, gold is sold according to weight – except for very light pieces of jewellery. One gram of 22-carat gold costs around 10 dollars, duty-free. Bargaining is often possible, especially when intending to buy several pieces at once. With larger purchases, customers receive small gold gifts as complimentary give-aways.

Something like we'll take 2 grammes?
