The only way I can make Italy fit into our racer's timeline is if Steffie's Hotel was in Italy. Is possible? :duno:

I guess one working assumption is that teams came directly from Dubai. Dutch Samadhi, can we check if something got lost in the translation? Does the description mean they passed through Dubai some time back, or they came directly from there?
If we don't assume that Dubai was immediately before the Netherlands, here're the two possibilites on what happened:
Possibility A
27 Jul: Teams race Dubai, Phil races to Leg 6 in afternoon
28 Jul: Teams race Leg 6, Phil flies to Netherlands in afternoon
29 Jul: Teams spotted by Steffi and fly to Netherlands, Phil films Netherlands
30 Jul: Teams race Netherlands
Possibility B
27 Jul: Teams race Dubai, Phil flies to Netherlands in afternoon
28 Jul: Teams idle, Phil idle
29 Jul: Teams spotted by Steffi and fly to Netherlands, Phil films Netherlands
30 Jul: Teams race Netherlands
Possibility B would be strange, simply because there's an extra day that no one really needs. Possibility A could accomodate an extra leg in the UAE, Israel OR Italy. But going by TAR 14's pattern of Phil doing back-to-back races only on extremely short legs, I'm leaning towards the leg being in the UAE. Phil would have little time to film his stand-ups otherwise.

They raced the Netherlands on the 29th just after they returned. I saw it happen.

The implications of that statement are that teams landed in Amsterdam early enough to be able to race before arriving Groningen. Groningen is over 2 hours away from Schiphol Airport and the late afternoon arrivals of flights connecting from Dubai to Amsterdam in 7 different cities would not have allowed serious daylight racing on Wednesday July 29. My conclusion is that Dutch Samadhi's guidance effectively means teams would have to take a midnight to 2am flight from Dubai to reach AMS in the morning. Here are the choices:
