Kisha makes the huge mistake in not trusting Jen. They arrive third, but have to go all the way back to get their stuff. This ensures they get eliminated. Well, maybe. Mark & Michael still have to do the Detour.

Kisha/Jen actually get back in the same cab, I think!
Jen conf: Our assumption was that we had to take the boat back to where we got it. But now we have a lot of regrets.

Mark/Michael don't have enough money for their cab ride, either.
They offer flashlight, compass ...
They get into the karaoke taxi!
It's very late in the afternoon now. Traffic seems to have subsided.
Kisha/Jen find the Roadblock site and run to get their bags.
Michael and Mark like "the pretty local girls. We can have a good time!"
Kisha/Jen have their bags and going back to Thai Palace.

So this season, apparently no penalties for taking private transportation (as far as I can see)... no using personal possessions to settle bills.

And BVM is making up time as he goes along (but he did that last season too).

That is actually a long standing rule, no one is allowed to sell or trade their own possessions, otherwise everyone would come with a few expensive watches to trade. They ARE, however, allowed to sell or trade items they buy along the way with race $$, so if you are cunning, you might be able to buy something along the way that would be useful.
