PREVIOUSLY ON .. THE AMAZING RACE:

Phil: Eleven teams are racing around the World. Luke/Margie won the first leg, exceeding expectations. Mel/Mike confessional about it. Mother/Son developed an alliance with Jamie/Cara. Father/Son Mel/Mike struggled with his groin injury but soared ahead on the paraglide, to a 2nd place finish. Stuntmen/brothers proved their mettle in ep 1, while flight attendants Christie/Jodi barely escaped elimination 2 weeks in a row. Lawyers/Sibilings Tammy/Victor went no holds barred and came in 1st in the 2nd leg. Coming tonight, after 2 legs of solid teamwork, they begin to unravel in Rumania. And it threatens their position in the Race. (Wow, this is a helluvan intro!)

Phil: This is Salzburg, Austria, birthplace of Mozart. Scholss Helbrunn, palace, was the 2nd pitstop in a Race around the world.

Tammy/Vic, CLUE, 10:13 am. Make your way to Bucharest, Romania.
Phil: Travel to Munich, land in Bucharest. Take a taxi to the place where Nadia Comaneci trained for gymnastics.
Vic is barking at her already, with a multi-hour lead. WTF!?
Describing flight times, travel agency woman: It's half past three. Then quarter to five ...
They'll train to Munich.

Mel/Mike, 12:01 pm.
(1 hour 48 minute lead for T/V)
Amanda/Kris, 12:12
Margie/Luke, 12:30. Luke signs something about wanting to be able to communicate with the other teams and know what they're talking about.
Mom thought Bucharest was Hungary. Kellie Pickler much?

Tammy/Vic, airport in Munchen get the 3:20 flight.

Brad/Victoria, CLUE, 12:53 pm.
Brad was a drug addict and alcoholic. Now he's just a R O B O T
Jaime/Cara, 1:17 or summat.

Mel/Mike get on a train. As do Margie/Luke, Brad/Victoria
Amanda/Kris find a nice man on the train to help them get 4:45 flight reservations, but what a tight connection - 20 minutes from the train station to the gate. Ummm ... I thought you needed 30 minutes for int'l flights??

Teams 0on train find out it'll be another 5 hours if they miss the 4:45 flight. So they've gotta run or be innovative.

Tammy/Vic leave on the 3:25 flight to Bucharest.
Next bunch makes it to the airport from the train, plenty of time to make the 4:45 departure. Yay?

Uh-oh, Tammy/Vic have mechanical issues with their plane.
They'll have to turn around in mid-air (no, I'm not making this up) and return to Munich for servicing the aircraft or another plane or summat.
