The not so Amazing Intro flash/screen caps let down ..

puddin, that could be it. Or it could be on the Li River near Guilin China. I was on a small boat trip a little south of Guilin between Yangshuo and Xingping 16 years ago. I have some some current photos of boats on the Li River. Some are easily the size you indicated. Thank you TexasLady and Peach for your guidance in how to post photos. I used to know but it's been a long time. The thing I forgot was use of the Additional Options box to replace the method which wasn't working for me.

Apskip, when you have the reply window open, look under Additional Options and you will see the "attach files" option on the left. :tup:

Thanks for sharing your photos apskip! Could also be Guilin after looking thru more photos .

The distinct lack of karst in the background disturbs me. If they're going for "epic scenery", surely Guilin/Yangshuo could offer more dramatic landscape than that?
On first view I thought it was something like the Mississippi! *no offence to Mississippi!* Guilin is just not "famous" for boats on a river.
