I really thought G&T will come in last. :)

georgiapeach:
Thank you Calvin--I know I can count on you to tell me WHERE some of the tasks were!!

I know it was a good strategic move on G&T's part...but my poor AD/Fuzzie!!   :'(

calv_10,

Thanks for the nice recap. The one point that is not clear is whether teams got a taxi to Pune at Mumbai airport (this is what I infer from how you wrote about it). An alternative that should have been what they used was to fly from Mumbai to Pune and take the taxi from Pune Airport. Which of these is what really happened?

calv_10:
they took a plane to Mumbai and then a taxi to Pune. i dont think they're aware of a plane straight to Pune. what is shown in the TARA globe screen is the plane going from cochin to mumbai (not pune).

apskip:
Thanks for the clarification, Calvin. The flights that I predicted as part of combinations connecting through Mumbai in fact terminated on arrival in Mumbai. They are:

AI691 COK BOM 0430 0615

9W402 COK BOM 1300 1440

9W404 COK BOM 1605 1745

So we also have these additional possiblities(that did not have good conncetions to Pune but that doesn't matter now) for COK BOM nonstop:
9W406 0830 1015
9W408 2000 2205
IC162   2020 2210
IT2144 2110 2320

With the listed pitstop release times reported in the 941pm to 1015pm range, it looks like AI691 was the flight of choice. The episode shows AI691 briefly, but then also says that Geoff/Tisha took a different plane than the others, which conflicts with other information. All teams had to be on AI691 or any on another flight would have been behind, which none were. With arrival in Mumbai airport at 0615, taxi arrival in Pune around 9am was a good bet. Ida/Tani said 2 hours, but the taxi service itself said 3 hours. That captures the range of opinions in the ARA3 threads.
