Andrea, Andrea, Andrea. What the hell were you doing? It pains me to say, but Danny did well. Paula did also.

Yes, I'm very, very sorry!  :'(  I'm so sorry Robert had to leave this way.

I agree with you about Danny and Paula, it's clear they are the better two left now. Ben gets too upset. (Who wouldn't with Ramsay screaming in your face.)

LOL about the preview!!! Why are you banging that pan Andrea??  :funny:  You can see Paula laughing to herself.

One other thing struck me last night with Robert leaving, once again a cheftestant leaves for personal or health reasons but only once has Ramsay given the chef their jacket to keep and that chef was Ji.

The classic line in this episode is Andrea stating "I was looking for the half-naked men, but they weren't there." That sums up my dissatisfaction with this episode. The winners are now pretty clear: Paula or Danny. The losers are Robert, Ben and Andrea who will not win the big prize. Robert is gone in the middle of this episode but he had no chance anyway in spite of the lies Ramsay told him. Andrea and Ben will be next and both should consider themselves fortunate that FOX wants a certain number of episodes or Ben would have been gone last night and Andrea next week.

Robert's fate (his medical issues) was sealed when he issued another non-classic line: "You fully forget you are in Jersey." As a resident of New Jersey, I can assure you that the sentiment expressed by Robert is hogwash. It's just like in the Amazing Race when karma comes back to bite teams that use the YIELD or U-TURN. Next time, keep those kind of thoughts to yourself, Robert!

The handwriting is on the wall for how the finale will play out. I can't tell you whether Danny or Paula will win, but I can tell you this:
1. The finale will be in the Borgata.
2. The final judge or 2 judges will be Nicholas Kurban, VP-Food and Beverage and Ron Ross, Executive Chef.
3. There will be an odd number of judges and the score will be tied 3-3 (or mauybe 2-2) when it comes to the final vote that determines the winner.

I have some additional observations. If the HK5 finale were on Top Chef, then any chefs that made it to the final have a chance to win, based on the top Chef philosophy that only performance in the current episode can be used to judge the outcome. I like Gordon Ramsay's philosophy much better. He maneuvers to make sure that the best two chefs are competing in the finale. Either one can win, but the one with a better cumulative performance through the season can get there. Paula and Danny are running neck-and-neck on this, so it's too close to call.

TARAsia Fan:
I agree with you ap that Danny and Paula will be in the Final Two and Ben and Andrea are the extremely weak links in this Top 4. Ben and Andrea bring dinner service to a crashing halt and the fact that Andrea kept the heat in her pans low was excruciating to watch. Did not understand that at all.

Ben looked like he wanted to go. Paula did get yelled at, but only for protecting Andrea. It looks like Danny will finally get yelled at next week.
