TOP 10 CHEFS REMAIN IN “HELL’S KITCHEN”

Kitchen Heats Up as Teams Battle It Out Thursday, March 19, on FOX

Recipes from the Top 10 Chefs Available at FOX.com

Chef Gordon Ramsay turned up the heat and eliminated Coi Burruss from last night’s HELL’S KITCHEN, leaving only the Top 10 chefs left in the kitchen. The Top 10 will continue to fry, fillet and fight their way toward the grand prize of a “Head Chef” position at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa, the East Coast’s leading resort destination.

The chefs have dished out impressive culinary skills and have endured Chef Ramsay’s intense grilling so far, but they will have to spice things up if they are going to withstand the pressure of HELL’S KITCHEN long enough to be declared the winner.

Next week, the Top 10 chefs learn the latest culinary trend of small-plate, or tapas-style, dining as Chef Ramsay challenges them to transform a day’s leftovers into perfectly portioned delectable dishes Thursday, March 19 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

To get a taste of HELL’S KITCHEN in your home, the Top 10 chefs have shared some of their favorite recipes with FOX.com. --- Quote from: Soccermom71 on March 12, 2009, 11:15:08 PM ---Chef Carol is an amazing chef. On Steak night, there was not one of the steaks Carol grilled sent back, and last week on the fish station, again, she was flawless. She has only been in trouble once, and that was when she made risotto and then the others didn't have their stuff done and hers had to sit and get cold.

I know this show brings out the worst in everyone, but the yelling needs to stop, it is not productive (and the ones who yell are never the winners anyway)... Carol does not need to yell in the kitchen to run her kitchen every night successfully... and her work is consistently good. I'm from Vegas, so I ask you ....who would you bet on?     :duno:       Carol of course!!!  :yess:

I offer a different perspective on this. With the controversy over who was eliminated, I decided to go back and look at who was getting criticized. During dinner service it was Andrea and Coi, but during the Challenge it was all Carol. Her teammates made good suggestions on putting a different cheese on the burger and to cook it medium well done and not the medium that Carol used, but Carol ignored them all... and lost to Robert's dish. Carol did OK in dinner service. My conclusion is that Andrea was the proper person to be eliminated, but either Ramsay or more likely the producers intervened to save the CArol/Andrea conflict for future episodes. I predict that they will be the two women left standing in this competition when about 4 or 5 chefs are left.

Thanks everyone for your perspective. I still haven't seen last night's episode so I'll watch for Carol, Andrea and Coi. I was really sad to read that she was eliminated.  :'(
