Here are the judges' scores for each of the remaining 7 teams:

Maurice/Cheryl 7 7 7 21 Viennese Waltz
Lance/Lacey    9 9 9 27 Jive
Susan/Tony     8 8 7 23 Mambo
Brooke/Derek 8 10 8 26 Rumba
Cloris/Corky     5 5 5 15  Cha Cha Cha
Cody/Julianne  8 8 7 23 Samba
Warren/Kym    8 9 8 25 Rumba

Michael Flatley was the this-show head judge to allow Len to have a week off. Michael mostly made politically correct comments, but the spector of Cloris still in the competition riled him. His comment about her dancing was "my father is watching and made me promise not to say anything bad about Cloris." Powerful stuff, but the award for most honest and compelling goes to Carrie Ann for her comment about Cloris - "We lost Toni Braxton for this." Clearly not a compliment for Cloris. Bruno was close - Cloris is "the only person in the world who can get away with" such nonsense.  Plus you had to see Cloris in the group hip-hop dance that followed. She had the good sense to stay out of the flow and the eye of the camera except when she and Corky had their moment in the sun; she did so by going onto the stage and pretty much staying there. It is time for Cloris to get voted off. That statement has been true for many weeks, but her fans have supported her. Her score is now 6 points below the next lowest. It's time to go, Cloris. You have had your fun and provided comic relief, but this is a serious dancing competition and you are out of place.

:funny: lmao I never laugh so hard at Cloris’ routine

Carrie Ann was absolutely correct. I’m glad the judges have finally decided to take the show seriously and not for a joke even 5’s are too high of a score

I just love Edyta’s dancing so I am thrilled she will be returning to take Julianne’s spot

An interesting article:

Backstage: Cloris Should Go Home, Says Bruno

It doesn't seem to matter that Cloris Leachman gets a standing ovation from the studio audience every time she hits the parquet on Dancing with the Stars. Or that she wasn't even in the bottom two last week. Judge Bruno Tonioli wants her out.

"I think Cloris should go home," Tonioli said after Monday night's show. "I don't take anything away from what she's done. She's fantastic. She's entertaining. She's a legend. But we have to be realistic. We're past the halfway stage, and the best dancers should be the ones left in the competition." Tonioli shares the opinion of fellow judge Carrie Ann Inaba, who told Leachman after her cha cha cha on Monday night that losing Toni Braxton from the competition tipped the balance. "Losing Toni?" said Tonioli. "That was like, okay, that hurts. It's nothing personal, but Toni didn't deserve to go. Cloris should have gone. And we love her. She's proved that even at 82, you can come out here, do your best, kill it and entertain."

Leachman herself may have reached her limit. On the press line after the show, she kicked off her right tennis shoe, grimacing in pain and telling her partner, Corky Ballas, that her right foot was hurting her. Ballas suggested shaking it out, but Leachman got no relief and had to excuse herself to sit down. She had danced two dances on Monday night, the cha cha cha and the group hip-hop. To add insult to possible injury, two of the judges want her to go home.

An interesting article:

Backstage: Julianne Explains Her Surgery

Julianne Hough was in fine spirits after Monday night's Dancing with the Stars, smiling for the cameras and optimistic about the arthroscopic surgery she's facing Tuesday to remove ovarian cysts and her appendix. "People who've had this surgery in the past tell me, 'You're gonna feel so great. You'll feel like a new woman,'" she said.

But her brother, Derek, couldn't hide his worry. "With our family, we'll just push ourselves until we're dead," he said. "And it's so sad that she's going into surgery tomorrow, because I just found out that my dad is going into surgery tomorrow too. He broke his collarbone and separated his shoulder two days ago."

Derek himself was also taken to the hospital earlier this season after slipping on the dance floor in rehearsals, hitting his head and suffering a mild concussion. "I guess the Houghs just like going to the hospital," he said.

But Julianne says she's been putting off this particular trip for a long time. She couldn't ignore the pain after last Tuesday's results show, when the other dancers found her curled up in a ball backstage. "This has actually been going on for many years," she said, "but I am so lazy and don't have time to go to the doctors. And then last week, on the results show, I had a cyst burst on my ovary, and I was trying to smile. I probably would've just gone home and dealt with it, but [the producers] said, 'No, you need to get this checked out.'"

What the doctors discovered was endometriosis, which happens when tissue from the lining of the uterus develops outside the uterus, often on the ovaries and appendix. Hough was told she had multiple cysts on her ovaries that had to be removed, along with the appendix, which doctors believe could cause her trouble down the road. "It's genetic," she says. "My mom gave it to me. She gave me my thighs, my blue eyes and my endometriosis."

"At first, it was something I wasn't sure I even wanted to talk about," she says. "But then I thought, 'I don't want other girls to be like me and totally ignore it."

Hough's partner, Cody Linley, will be practicing this week with pro Edyta Sliwinska, who hasn't been in the competition since week one, when she was ousted with her partner, comedian Jeffrey Ross. Though the viewers don't know it, Linley and Sliwinska have already started working together. "She came in to work with me on the group [hip-hop] dance," Linley said after the show. "So I'm not worried about the dancing. I'm just sending my support and prayers to Julianne. She's going to be fine, I know it."

Hough says she's determined to be back in the ballroom next week, although it's not clear if she will be well enough to compete on Monday night. "Everyone said, 'If it doesn't feel better in a week, take your time,'" she says. "I know my body; I know my limits."

A note about increasing DVR penetration and year-to-year rating comparisons: Year-to-year rating comparisons based on the Live + Same Day data stream are distorted by the level of DVR penetration in the Nielsen sample, which has jumped up to 28% currently, from 20% at the same point in 2007. More viewers are watching shows on their own timetables, which may not be reflected in the overnight next day numbers. The only truly valid year-to-year comparison would be one based on the Live + 7 Day metric, once those stats are released by Nielsen.

Julianne's Blog:

Julianne Hough: "I Have Endometriosis. I'd Still Like A Hough Vs. Hough Final"

Well, as of yesterday, the news is out there. Here's the latest. Later today I’m meeting with my doctor, getting the rundown of the procedure. He’s going to go through everything about the surgery. I’m not worried. I'm feeling good.

Actually what happened is last week was more than just a tummy ache. Obviously. It turned out I ruptured a cyst that was on my ovary. I didn’t’ know but I have endometriosis. I’ve apparently had it for a long time because I’ve had this pain for about the last five years. It hasn’t been as bad. Up till last week, I let it go and I was always too busy to get it checked out. But because it happened when I was on set, they made me go to the doctor.

They want to clean out the cysts and take out my appendix, too, because later on it can be affected by the cysts. Endometriosis is a common thing for women. I was like “thanks mom for giving me my great life – and endometriosis.” I said that jokingly. My sister who has five children is going in for the same surgery in a couple weeks.

Last week my management and the other people around me were trying to think of something else I could say that was wrong with me, but I was like, don’t worry. I want to be a good role model. I want to be honest. Maybe some girl out there won’t wait too long like I did. I’m just glad I’m taking care of it now because I want to have babies some day. I don’t want to jeopardize my health.

They’re doing it laparoscopically through my belly button so I won’t have a scar. My mom had it done a few years ago and she doesn’t have a scar. With my mom and my sister having endometriosis, you can see genetics plays a big part. I guess my brother Derek is the only sibling in the family who doesn’t have to worry about having his ovaries checked.
They say its three or four days of recovery. I’m thinking more like a week. Then I'll be able to work with Cody. But I won’t be dancing for two weeks.

It’s kind of been a weird couple days for the Houghs. My dad was playing father-son lacrosse on Saturday and was running down the field, stubbed his toe, fell down, broke his collar bone in two places and separated his shoulder. He was going to be with me for my surgery but he’s going in for his own today. I want to say thanks to a Fancast user named Nana who wrote in with good wishes for my dad.

As for last night’s performance, I didn’t feel that great, obviously. I toughed my way through it. I guess I have a strong threshold for pain. I wanted to do my best for Cody. He’s awesome and he deserves to go all the way in the competition. I didn’t want my problems to get in his way. So I went out and did my best. I don’t think I put myself at any risk by dancing. My doctor’s wife was a jazz dancer, so he was familiar with dancer’s crazy determination to dance through pain. He said it was ok. I asked if I could do the surgery after the show was over, but he said that was too long. They wanted to do surgery last Friday, but I said I wanted to do the dance on Monday for Cody. Edyta will be great. She’s a great girl and a terrific dancer. I want people to still vote for Cody and know I’ll be back.

A few people have written in to this blog about wanting a Hough vs. Hough final, and I think that would be great fun. I hope it happens! Brooke has been a frontrunner from the beginning, and I think Cody has shown what this show is about. We’ll see.
I didn’t get Bruno at all last night. I was pissed at him. Think about it. That song was a strong sexy song, not the kind of song Bruno said it was. I think Carrie Ann was right. I think Cody has improved so much. I was really proud of him. But in the confessional, I had to watch what I said about the judges, well, what I said about Bruno.

All night long I got really nice, loving messages from all the dancers. Everyone has been very supportive.

As for the next week or so, my mom is going to take good care of me. She’s been with me for almost a month. Something seems to happen every week where I need her to stay. She’s been awesome.

Let me answer some of your questions and comments.

Debbie, you asked about releasing “Dreaming Under the Same Moon” as a single. It probably won’t come out as a single. Now that my brother has signed with Hollywood Records, I don’t know if that will be easy.

Janice, you’re right, it is the Ventura pier in my video. It was really cold that day. But it was so beautiful out there. That was a great video to make. I’m sorry you get homesick when seeing that.

And to Sammi and the rest of you who’ve sent in good wishes, especially the last couple days but also through the season, thank you for supporting me and thinking about me. It means a lot. I appreciate it.

I’ll try to blog again next week.

Talk to you later.

Julianne

An interesting article:

Monday’s Dancing: What You Didn’t See

Lil’ Leachy’s Last Stand?: After last night’s lackluster cha-cha-cha, Cloris Leachman may be bidding farewell to the ballroom but she left America with an indelible image: channeling Flavor Flav in the season’s first group dance. “I see Cloris as a hip-hop grandma,” pro Tony Dovolani joked, “If she came out with her own rap album, it might be titled The Next William Hung! Lance Bass added, “We’ve already had a rapping granny, but when Cloris walked into rehearsals with that ghetto blaster, I almost died. If she had a rap name, it would have to be, ‘Lil’ Leachy!” Judge Carrie Ann Inaba, who had harsh words for the 82-year-old actress after her dance, thought Leachman’s outrageous hip-hop effort “was better than her cha-cha.” So does the original Fly Girl think there’s a hip-hop album in Leachman’s future? “I just know that there would be the word ‘ho’ in it,” laughed Inaba, who added, “and that’s all I’m going to say!”

The Season Seven Curse: From simple sprains to career-threatening Achilles’ injuries, both dancers and contestants are wondering whether this season may have a dark cloud hanging over it. “We need to hold a seance out here,” said Warren Sapp. “I’m not sure, but I think someone has some voodoo dolls stashed away somewhere.” “They need to open up a wing at Cedar’s dedicated to DWTS,” Derek Hough joked, before turning serious about his sister Julianne’s condition. “Trust me, I was so concerned that I had to rush out from the press line, but all I could do was make her laugh because I’ve never been good at comforting people, and she didn’t like it because when she laughed, it hurt her stomach.”

The Missing Step: Warren Sapp’s rumba, which included a foot fault, left the former defensive player of the year a little defensive. “I could have bluffed my way through it,” Sapp said. “I screw it up all the time in practice, but that’s the first time I made a mistake that big on this floor.” Inaba agreed with the former pro-bowler, saying of Sapp’s gaffe and subsequent goofy face, “Had he not made that face, I wouldn’t have thought he made a mistake.” Though Sapp failed to wow the judges, the NFLer had a fellow hall of famer in his corner: Marshall Faulk, who sat front row to support his pal. “To see the Big Fella out there doing these dances, it’s amazing.” Faulk said, “You expect him to be able to do the funky dances, but to see him do the rumba–and be so sensual–not only is it great, but it’s good ammunition for me to use on the roasting Warren circuit when that time comes.” Sapp’s response to Faulk’s, ahem, praise: “That dirtbag told me that if I didn’t make it past the first week, I might as well not come back to the job. He said that I had to make it a little way before he came to see me, and it took me six weeks for him to come here.”

More From Inside the Ballroom:
• Substitute judge Michael Flatley not only won over the contestants, but fans as well with his constructive critiques and old-school gentlemanly manners. During a break, Flatley stood and pulled out Inaba’s chair, gently pushing it back under the desk after his fellow judge had exited. The gesture wasn’t lost on the audience, with a group of older women roundly applauding the act of chivalry.

• Anna Faris turned out to support “bestie” Lance Bass, but the House Bunny star and unabashed DWTS fan seemed far more interested in her Scary Movie 4 costar Cloris Leachman. Faris led the standing ovation that followed Leachman’s bizarre cha-cha.

• In Len Goodman’s absence, Bruno Tonioli happily played the role of paddle-wielding curmudgeon. His comparatively low scores for the dances routinely drew a chorus of boos from the audience. With Flatley rolling out high praise for each dance, followed by even higher paddle scores, Tonioli spent the evening rolling his eyes

These results shows for DWTS are totally hokey except for the final minute when they tell you what everyone is waiting to hear, the eliminated couple. Well tonight it finally happened. Cloris Leachman and her partner Corky Ballas were finally sent packing by the American public. At first it was a novelty while Cloris hung around and took spots that should have gone to much better dancers. The public has finally decreed that it's had enough Cloris even though many admire her, but not her dancing skills.

Cloris Leachman On Jimmy Kimmel Live After Booted From DWTS

If you ever questioned Cloris Leachman's sanity,

you won't have to after this odd and bizarre interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live,

just two hours after getting booted off of Dancing With The Stars, on October 29, 2008.

I thought Cloris' negative comments about Corky Ballas are interesting. It appeared from the dance preparation each week that she was diffcult to keep focused(I know, how could that ever be?). A real antipathy could have developed from his efforts to focus her on learning each dance rather than on stick. Maybe it was just acting on her part, but I sense it was real. The professional dancers on this show havea to be patient and highly skilled in dealing with the temperments of the stars. It looked to me that Cloris just gave Corky a bum rap.

Dancing With the Stars will now be less entertaining with Cloris gone, but sanity has finally prevailed among the DWTS voter population.

Dina Lohan to Take Fancy Footwork to ‘Dancing With the Stars’?

Dina Lohan's awkward dancing scene on Living Lohan seems to have made an impression on someone. Between fielding questions about LiLo and Samantha at Animal Fair's Eighth Annual Halloween Pet Costume Party last night, our favorite stage mom, in the worst accidental-on-purpose slip we've seen maybe ever, hinted that she may soon appear on a certain dance show. "I'm not allowed to say," Lohan, who once claimed she was a Rockette, said when we asked if she had any plans to do something with her own, um, talent. "But I will say that I am a fan of Dancing With the Stars." We pressed on, asking if that was a hint, but got no response other than an evil, knowing laugh. Ali, standing shyly by her mom's side, said she thought her mom could hold her own next to Cloris Leachman et al. "I mean, I've seen her dance on the show and everything, and me and my brother were really surprised she did it," she said. "I think she'd do really good."

An interesting article:

Tuesday’s Dancing: What You Didn’t See

Forever Young: Cloris Leachman’s improbable Dancing run was marked by low scores, leg lifts, bribery and a slew of bleeped-out cuss words, but in the end the 82-year-old Oscar winner took her dismissal in stride. “You can’t do this forever,” she joked after the show, “I had thought that I would make it to the fifth week, so to make it to the sixth week is awfully fine for me. I’m not the champion, but I’m something.”

Something of a one-of-a-kind spirit that left a deep impression on her fellow season 7 cohorts. “Cloris taught me that you have to live your life, not be a fuddy-duddy,” partner Corky Ballas told PEOPLE. “She acts like a 20-year-old, and she’s inspired me even when things didn’t go well.” “I’m sad to see her go.” judge Carrie Ann Inaba added. “We will never have anyone like her ever again.” Though Inaba strongly criticized Leachman’s cha-cha-cha on Monday, the judge couldn’t hide her affection for the outgoing star. “She broke down barriers about age and stereotypes, flexibility and insanity, and I love her for that,” said Inaba. “She reminded us that life is about having fun, and I respect her for having as much fun as she did.”

Filling Len’s Dancing Shoes: His two-day stint as Len Goodman’s fill-in was a love fest for the Lord of the Dance, but even Michael Flatley’s inflated scores and kind words couldn’t hide the fact that everyone missed Len Goodman. “Michael Flatley is one of the great dancers of all time, and just being around him was a great pleasure,” pro Tony Dovolani said, “but I love Len, and there’s no getting around that.” Cheryl Burke chimed in, “I miss Len, because he’s a ballroom judge and we need that guy.” “Everyone thinks that Len is the Cranky Uncle on the panel, but for me, Len Goodman is a prince. A charming, debonaire, older man” Inaba said. “He’s my old man crush.”

Still, Flatley got a very warm welcome from the DWTS family. “There’s such a great camaraderie up there,” Flatley said of the judges’ table. “I love Bruno and Carrie Ann, and they made me feel so very much at home.” Flatley, who seemed to take some ribbing from Tonioli for his high scores, said, “I’ll never tell what was said up there…Bruno is one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet, but some of the things he says can’t be repeated into a microphone.”

Judging Backlash: But Inaba defended her critique of Leachman–though it did bring an unexpected flood of heated missives from irate fans following Monday’s show. “I was surprised,” Inaba said of the backlash to her pointed, but honest critique, “because I really didn’t think much about what I said. I actually just spoke what I thought, but everybody sees every moment differently.”

“Last night alone, I got hundreds of emails,” she said. “Most of them were pretty negative, but there were some that said, ‘I agree with you, what you said was spot-on.’ Inaba did her best to open a healthy dialogue with her accusers, answering the more biting emails personally. “One lady wrote to me, but she didn’t sign it.” Inaba said, “I actually agreed with a lot that she wrote, and I wrote back, but she wrote the email anonymously. Inaba then went the extra mile, paying a thirty-dollar fee to find the name of her email accuser. “I took the time to find out who she was… just so that I could give her the proper respect in the salutation,” explained Inaba. “This morning she wrote me back, and she said, ‘You were right. It’s okay to disagree with somebody without being disagreeable. Thank you for reminding me of that.’”

It’s Big Hair Harris: It’s “go big or go home” in the ballroom and host Samantha Harris indeed went big Tuesday with a poufy pompadour. “I was a little nervous that the pompadour would be too Halloween-esque, but then I realized that it’s Halloween week, so I had fun with it,” said Harris. The host admitted to putting up a “fuss over trying new hairstyles” in the past, but her new attitude is “Where else but here will I be able to try the most over-the-top, madame ballroom hairstyles?” Harris admits to have finally let her hair down in a big way, saying with a chuckle, “In the end I decided to go with the flow and have fun with it. I am [the stylists'] putty and they just mold me.”

More From Inside the Ballroom:

• Leachman continued with her antics–even on the chopping block. During one commercial break she had dancer Lacey Schwimmer in stitches, with Schwimmer doing her best to fend of Leachman’s playful grabs at her cheeks (both top and back). Leachman then used the next commercial break to face off against 300 lb. Warren Sapp. The mock fight ended with Sapp lifting Leachman up in his arms and carrying the actress out onto the dancefloor.

• As her final song played, Leachman got a surprise spin from Derek Hough. The young pro grabbed Leachman and as the two swayed to the strains of “Save the Last Dance for Me.”

An interview with Brooke Burke:

Brooke Burke On The Dancing With the Stars Curse

Fancast chatted with the beautiful Brooke Burke of Dancing with the Stars Tuesday at the Rock the Vote Party at Les Deux in Los Angeles, where the DWTS star hosted the festivities. She spoke about the mysterious plague of injuries hitting the show and let us in on who is going to be Julianne's temporary substitute.

Can you talk about all of the injuries that have gone on this season and how you think they have affected the production? Or the voting?
Well you know there’s a little rumor that there’s a curse going on. I don’t believe that specifically because I hurt my foot in a different area. There was this whole saga about the Bermuda Triangle. They say that it’s never happened in the past. It can happen to anybody and we realized that when Misty May got hurt being one of the strongest of the bunch. We’re just pushing our bodies to the limit and it’s really unfortunate. It’s almost comical because it’s happening so much that we’re trying not to take it too seriously. My particular foot injury is just really frustrating. It’s more frustrating than painful but it’s one of those irritating things that I have to baby a little bit. But one by one, you know, we’re all going down. It’s crazy.

What about Julianne? She blogs for our site and I know she was going into surgery today.
The surgery went well today. That’s all I know.

Okay good, so you haven’t been in contact with her?
Well she had the surgery today so no one has really been in touch with her. Derek got word that everything went smoothly and Edyta is going to step in for her for a week or until she can come back. We’re just wishing her a speedy recovery. She’s got a great work ethic and she’s a really tough girl. And I admire that she finished the week out. She’s gone through a lot.

Are you a big TV watcher yourself?
I’m actually not a TV watcher. Not much. I mean when I come home it’s all about the kids. Unfortunately, after all day long, by the time I get home I hit the bed, and I’m done.

How about your partner? Can you talk about him and what the experience has been like?
You know, I think I got a really great partner. He’s very technical and really talented. And I think the energy that each partnership shares is really important. It really shows on the dance floor. And hopefully we’ll get to continue doing what we’ve been doing.

Okay great. Well good luck to you, it was so nice meeting you.
It was nice meeting you too

An interview with Cloris and Corky:

Dancing With the Stars Cloris Leachman Eliminated

How are you feeling?
Cloris: It's doesn't feel right and seems wrong, but it's fair. No, it's very fair. We got far. I had no idea what I was getting into wanting to be on Dancing With the Stars, but I am very pleased and happy.

What was the hardest thing about the show for you?
Cloris: It's been all positive for me. I have a bad knee and this has made me more flexible — it's only all positive and it's been unbelievable.
Corky: Having to say goodbye to Mark the night he left, that was the hardest thing I have ever done. It ripped my heart out. It was bittersweet and I had never felt emotions like that in my life. I saw him as an infant that night.
Cloris: It was like he was cut in two.

Will you be back for the finale?
Cloris: Oh, I don't think that far ahead.
Corky: Well, that is a good idea. I think we should think that far because we don't want to do the last dance we did.
Cloris: I could do it now — now, I am ready to do it [laughs].

Did you learn anything about yourself?
Cloris: I thought I was younger than I am. I thought I could be a better dancer than I apparently was, so I have to look at the film they shot and see what happened because in my mind I was much better.

Are there any more dancing shows in your future, and what's next?
Cloris: Maybe? Mel Brooks called me while I was in the bathtub this morning and asked me to come back to Broadway and take over my role in the musical Young Frankenstein. We'll have to talk about it, but I have to go to Berlin to do Inglorious Bastards for Quentin Tarantino, starring Brad Pitt, then maybe to the musical. And I will be the grand marshal at the Rose Bowl parade this year. That came out of the blue and is completely amazing. I have to ride the parade and throw the coin!

Corky how proud of Cloris are you?
Corky: I am so proud of her. When I first got Cloris, I said one thing: "Believe while all others doubt." We had a great run and she did amazing. We finished with a death-defying lift that I really wanted her to do.
Cloris: It didn't come at the right time or was it as long as it should have been, but...

An interesting article:

Exclusive: Second ‘Dancing’ Star’s Health Crisis

“The Insider” breaks news that “Dancing with the Stars” pro Lacey Schwimmer was just diagnosed today with the same condition Julianne Hough suffers from.

Lacey tells “The Insider” exclusively that she learned – just today -- that she too has endometriosis – only after her fellow dancer Julianne Hough was diagnosed with the condition. Lacey tells “The Insider” that she saw a doctor after realizing that she had many of the same symptoms as Julianne, and that she never would have gotten it checked out if it wasn’t for Julianne.

Luckily, Lacey only has the early stage of the condition, and is currently only taking medication for it. She tells us that surgery isn’t necessary at this time.

Julianne underwent surgery related to her endometriosis on Tuesday. She posted the following definition of endometriosis on her Web site: "Endometriosis is the development of uterine-lining tissue outside the uterus on the surfaces of organs in the pelvis or abdomen where they are not supposed to grow. It is a common medical condition found in 5-10 percent of women of reproductive age around the world."
