Michael Flatley was the this-show head judge to allow Len to have a week off. Michael mostly made politically correct comments, but the spector of Cloris still in the competition riled him. His comment about her dancing was "my father is watching and made me promise not to say anything bad about Cloris." Powerful stuff, but the award for most honest and compelling goes to Carrie Ann for her comment about Cloris - "We lost Toni Braxton for this." Clearly not a compliment for Cloris. Bruno was close - Cloris is "the only person in the world who can get away with" such nonsense. Plus you had to see Cloris in the group hip-hop dance that followed. She had the good sense to stay out of the flow and the eye of the camera except when she and Corky had their moment in the sun; she did so by going onto the stage and pretty much staying there. It is time for Cloris to get voted off. That statement has been true for many weeks, but her fans have supported her. Her score is now 6 points below the next lowest. It's time to go, Cloris. You have had your fun and provided comic relief, but this is a serious dancing competition and you are out of place.

:funny: lmao I never laugh so hard at Cloris’ routine
Carrie Ann was absolutely correct. I’m glad the judges have finally decided to take the show seriously and not for a joke even 5’s are too high of a score
I just love Edyta’s dancing so I am thrilled she will be returning to take Julianne’s spot

Backstage: Cloris Should Go Home, Says Bruno
It doesn't seem to matter that Cloris Leachman gets a standing ovation from the studio audience every time she hits the parquet on Dancing with the Stars. Or that she wasn't even in the bottom two last week. Judge Bruno Tonioli wants her out.
"I think Cloris should go home," Tonioli said after Monday night's show. "I don't take anything away from what she's done. She's fantastic. She's entertaining. She's a legend. But we have to be realistic. We're past the halfway stage, and the best dancers should be the ones left in the competition." Tonioli shares the opinion of fellow judge Carrie Ann Inaba, who told Leachman after her cha cha cha on Monday night that losing Toni Braxton from the competition tipped the balance. "Losing Toni?" said Tonioli. "That was like, okay, that hurts. It's nothing personal, but Toni didn't deserve to go. Cloris should have gone. And we love her. She's proved that even at 82, you can come out here, do your best, kill it and entertain."
Leachman herself may have reached her limit. On the press line after the show, she kicked off her right tennis shoe, grimacing in pain and telling her partner, Corky Ballas, that her right foot was hurting her. Ballas suggested shaking it out, but Leachman got no relief and had to excuse herself to sit down. She had danced two dances on Monday night, the cha cha cha and the group hip-hop. To add insult to possible injury, two of the judges want her to go home.

Backstage: Julianne Explains Her Surgery
Julianne Hough was in fine spirits after Monday night's Dancing with the Stars, smiling for the cameras and optimistic about the arthroscopic surgery she's facing Tuesday to remove ovarian cysts and her appendix. "People who've had this surgery in the past tell me, 'You're gonna feel so great. You'll feel like a new woman,'" she said.
But her brother, Derek, couldn't hide his worry. "With our family, we'll just push ourselves until we're dead," he said. "And it's so sad that she's going into surgery tomorrow, because I just found out that my dad is going into surgery tomorrow too. He broke his collarbone and separated his shoulder two days ago."
Derek himself was also taken to the hospital earlier this season after slipping on the dance floor in rehearsals, hitting his head and suffering a mild concussion. "I guess the Houghs just like going to the hospital," he said.
But Julianne says she's been putting off this particular trip for a long time. She couldn't ignore the pain after last Tuesday's results show, when the other dancers found her curled up in a ball backstage. "This has actually been going on for many years," she said, "but I am so lazy and don't have time to go to the doctors. And then last week, on the results show, I had a cyst burst on my ovary, and I was trying to smile. I probably would've just gone home and dealt with it, but [the producers] said, 'No, you need to get this checked out.'"
What the doctors discovered was endometriosis, which happens when tissue from the lining of the uterus develops outside the uterus, often on the ovaries and appendix. Hough was told she had multiple cysts on her ovaries that had to be removed, along with the appendix, which doctors believe could cause her trouble down the road. "It's genetic," she says. "My mom gave it to me. She gave me my thighs, my blue eyes and my endometriosis."
"At first, it was something I wasn't sure I even wanted to talk about," she says. "But then I thought, 'I don't want other girls to be like me and totally ignore it."
Hough's partner, Cody Linley, will be practicing this week with pro Edyta Sliwinska, who hasn't been in the competition since week one, when she was ousted with her partner, comedian Jeffrey Ross. Though the viewers don't know it, Linley and Sliwinska have already started working together. "She came in to work with me on the group [hip-hop] dance," Linley said after the show. "So I'm not worried about the dancing. I'm just sending my support and prayers to Julianne. She's going to be fine, I know it."
Hough says she's determined to be back in the ballroom next week, although it's not clear if she will be well enough to compete on Monday night. "Everyone said, 'If it doesn't feel better in a week, take your time,'" she says. "I know my body; I know my limits."
