If we have the 8th leg of ARA3 to Muscat, Oman then there must also be a leg starting from Muscat. Where does it go? There are over 150 different possible destinations you can reach in Europe and Africa flying from Muscat. Almost every medium-sized city in Germany and the United Kingdom is on the list. I have attempted to pare it down to the places which are better known. Here is the list for Africa:

There are 10 African places and 40 European places. As a result I predict that a ninth leg to Europe is more likely. If that happens, then the 10th leg could also be in Europe. I think the 9th leg might be to one of the less traveled places like Helsinki, Kiev, Sofia, or Zagreb. The most logical and closest place in Europe is of course Istanbul.

yeah, you can see it (temple/pagoda), large as life in the GE pix.... BUT nowhere to be seen in the preview clips... the cameraman pans sooo fast from one couple to the other on the bridge... you can't see it.  It's huge, compared to the bridge...    hmmmm.... 
edited to add:  But then again, given the camera angles, and the blurred video, it could be right.

If they went to the Middle East (as confirm it is in Oman) and after they'd raced there, those colored beach houses could be somewhere in South Africa or Australia where their beaches are plentiful.

Water buffaloes?  They're common in SE Asia but they're some of them living in the northern part of Australia as well.  P.S., remember the quote: my ox is broken?

I assumed both of those were old.

It is reasonable to infer that the water buffaloes are in Vietnam, since we know that there are at least 2 and more likely 3 legs of ARA3 in that country. I will hazard a guess that the photo was taken somewhere near Hue, but obviously I can't prove it.

I do think our jumping maybe Masaii man and the maybe arabian dhow could both be Kenya/Tanzania/Dares Salaam/Lamu etc.

Remember we have a whole unused Tanzanian leg from TAR AllStars, so perhaps they are recycling that? And turns out Michael McKay's show Ultimate Escape also went both to Oman and Tanzania, so he may well have contacts there.

In any case, I am loving the idea of Tanzania as a leg, as it is one of my favorite places in the world.

Thay used a water buffalo type beastie to plow a field last time, so I was thinking it is that. Could certainly be Mekong Delta though as well...

In tara2 episode 12, South Africa, they paint houses, nascar racing, and clean stables.
No water task.

In TARA2 episode 2, Philippines, the water buffalos are wet.
The ones in TARA3 are dry.

Thank you banzai! I believe the bathing huts are near Cape Point , South Africa so I thought that must have something to do with that leg. I also don't think they would re-use a location so quickly, but

And I have to say that when it comes to Water/Cape buffalo, they all look alike to me!   But maybe another clue for East Africa, instead?

On a different topic, there is "dune bashing" in Oman, but it's a two-hour drive from Muscat, so I don't know...

   Given no ones been able to come up with a different bridge,  it doesn't appear as hopeless as some have feared.  There are locations on the bridge that offer a view of the large rectangular building in the backgound without seeing the temple/pagoda.

Too bad the cameraman panned quickly to the other team, and all we see is blurred video.        Plus we have the combination of the large building on one end, and the residential area on the other end of the bridge that's tough to dispute.
