I mean, we haven't seen anyone get groped in years!

zackattach308, I too bet they travel by train. However, I would like to offer an antidote to your facetious remark about expecting groping in trains. I traveled for 8000 km around India in second class, usually sleeper compartments on their trains. I never saw a gropnig incident in over 3 weeks and there were plenty of obvious Americans and Europeans to serve as potential victims. The overcrowded spaces in local bus and train travel and that leads to the type of behavior you have witnessed on past Amazing Races. I don't expect to see that if ARA3 does go to Pune by long-distance train.

1098   Ernakulam - Pune (Monday)   -   23.00

According to that page, there's only 1 weekly train from Cochin to Pune.
It's on Monday at 11PM. June 2nd is Monday.
I think Sam and Vince can make it.

June 3rd, they arrived in Pune in the morning. It's hour of operation.
They have to wait here.

ANOTHER SCEnario could be Pune next week

then

Oman the week after with a CONTINUATION LEG
headed to CAPE Town

and from CT to the final destination as the last leg.

jayans,

No it could't. Here's why:

1. A TBC leg necessitates a second leg to finish it. That means leg 10 in Oman and leg 11 in Capetown or vice versa.
2. In order for Allan Wu to not eliminate the third place team, the next-to-last leg has to be a NEL so that the third team will remain in the competition. There is one NEL or TBC available but not both.
