;) Time to recycle a pix from the spoiler thread. As shown, the monorail (4.2 km) runs between 2 metro stations. (I also read somewhere that the two end stations on the monorail line are not physically connected to the nearby metro stations. You have to physically exit the metro station and walk over to the monorail station).
(Per Robyn's spoilers) my guess is they get on the monorail at the Timiryazevskaya station on the way to the station near the Exposition Center. The VDNKh station is so close to the station entrance of the Exposition Center that they probably don't come from that direction. Sooooo.... racers somehow end up at the Timiryazevskaya (metro) station, but from where. All the spoiled locations are within walking distance of a metro station. Good luck. :lol:
Just guesssing but the challenge with the subway would be reading the signs in cyrillic. :groan:

Most old-timey rail museums have working steam locos. Check out the station using Google Earth and you will see the layout. The railway museum is at Rizskiy railway terminal.
ETA: BTW, all this was previously shown in the "spoiler" thread. :sucks
