I do for one think when Adam finds out he would be the first to say what he did was wrong, and apologize. He does seem like that kind of person. His tears this season have showed that I don't think he wants to see anybody hurting (remember Josh crying over the pizza, who was there with a shoulder? Who asked Sharon to calm him down? When anybody including himself got their HOH letters he cried. We all saw it. I think he will be very upset to find out that he is fired, and you know hes right from being on BB he will get alot of attention. I know I myself have looked more into autism fouondations because of this. When im not pregnant I work with special needs kids doing equine assisted therapy and thats my way of helping them out.

Its not just Adam that should be getting bashed for this. Jen who could be doing great things working as a special needs teacher but because of her mistakes and DUIs got her license revoked. And at her age, I know alot of kids that would look up to her. Not an example I want set for my kids.

My point is we all make mistakes, im not perfect in any way but I try to do the best I can and these people aren't even parents so they don't know what that bond is like. My neice says that im her hero and it freaks me the heck out, because I have done NOTHING important (in my mind) but she has started working at the humane society in her free time, helping train service dogs, working at equine assisted therapy and does softball for the special needs kids and says she wants to be just like me when it comes to sports. Life is hard enough when you don't have people like that looking up to you and depending on you. So I can't fault anybody but it is only human to want to do so when something hurtful is said.

Thanks for clearing up the haircut conversation. I only remembered about the retard remark.

My gripe/disgust with Adam isn't that he made the stupid comment, he did show compassion for James and Joshy. It's the other things he's said and done. His contempt for women and the disgusting way he speaks about them. His talking about what he's going to do when he gets out. He has been cruel at times to Sheila.

He talks about drug use. I fault myself for not videoing the conversation the guys had in the backyard when they were all talking about drug use before they came into the house. It was revealing and because I cannot quote it accurately now, I won't try. (I believe it was with James, Matt, Adam and Ryan.)

Ryan is no better, nor James or Chelsia for that matter. This has been the sometimes vile, almost always crude and lewd Big Brother Winter edition. I hope it is the last.

BTW Mama, you ARE a role model to your children and niece, and you are doing something important!  :-*

FYI, I will be creating a new thread after the finale is over and it will be for the post season updates of the houseguests and pictures of the wrap parties, homecoming parties and whatnot....the thread will not be for commentary or bashing on the houseguests, just purely to keep us updated on what they are doing since leaving L.A. and to view pictures.

I will be checking their myspace profiles daily to post any news or pictures they post.

I have been a nurse for 20 years have worked with Disable children and also children who are classified as Retarded.   I also Has ababy Daughter born last May who was born with Downs Syndrome.  The first word your find when you look up Down syndrome is Retardation and people say lots of words like Mongoloid and you name it about children.  What Adam said was literally stupid and insensitive but this again is a reality show and people when nervous say things they normally wouldnt- then they are trying to be cool and things.  I do not belive he meant any harm what so ever.  I think also its great they didnt hide the comment becasue it would have come out.  Also if you watch Adam he himself appears to have some issues possibly a form of the Autism spectrum or some other issues similiar.  Everyone jokes with him scracthing his balls and he does quirky things with his lips and the way he stutter talks at times is all garbled together.  He may be a genius in many things but the man has issues.  I think people should let him make is apologies which I truly belive will be very sincere.  I have no doubt this man will also help many children along the way regardless.  Is he a jerk-- yeh but I see people working at group homes that are horrific and Adam is not the monster.

haha, if you are so eager for the season to be over then why would you want to keep up to date with these stupid house guests  :lol:
