and now i must see that movie you are talking about six degrees of seperation, it sounds like james, how old is that movie!
It's from 1993. It's kind of a slow paced film compared to today's standards. It focuses more on how it affects Stockard Channing. How even though "James" is a freak and a liar, that somewhere deep down, he just wanted a chance to be a better person and never got it, so he went in that other direction. She still puts him in jail and all for his scamming, but it's more about her not fitting in to HER "upper class" world. So she can relate to "James" not fitting in (just in a very different way!). Lost soul type connection. Almost like she is the Christian Natalie says she is and has compassion, even for "James". Compassion, all be it, not a free pass. She still sends him to jail.
Ya' know how you can pity someone when you're sad too? Like that.
But I tell you, for 1993 (15 years ago and pre-internet porn explosion), having an imposter come stay the night and see his naked gay prostitute (full frontal disclosure) running through your house...It was shocking for the era.
You'll HAVE to like Stockard Channing (Rizzo from Grease) to get through this movie.
On another note:Ryan was saying the other day that Jen could be pregnant for all he knew. They didn't use a condom when they boinked in the bathroom stall. James' eyes got real wide, like he hadn't thought about that with Chelsia. So I'm thinkin' he did not use a condom with her.
