this is the weirdest group of people -- uh, by "this" I mean the BB9 group.  I think Sharon is the only sane one there, bless her little heart.  I hope the pawn maneuvre (spelling?) doesn't go the way of every pawn maneuvre past.

opened quote just to say, in Nat's case it's worse: she wants (self-)righteous "vengeance," as she is fond of saying.

Sharon's got the spirit though: "Leave 'em to heaven."

--AliMcJ[/size]

These people need to grow up. Its a game, even if it wasn't couples the whole "revenge" for others is so annoying.

Natalie wants revenge for Matt (sending Chelsia, hopefully James next week).

James wants revenge for Chelsia who asked for Natalie or Adam to join her in sequester.

Now I hear today Sheila wants Josh out before James, because Allison would be happy.

I agree Momma, the revenge thing is stupid

I love Sharon.  Let's all pray for her.  I'm only about 30% joking on the "let's pray for her" bit here.

Can't stand the Gnat, aka Pippi Longstocking (I loved that comment), and today another one came to mind, oy yes, "Luanne," from King of the Hill.  Luanne's saving grace is her humility.
The only reason I would want to see any more of her is to continue with a satirical piece called "The Bible According to Gnatterly."

At least the HGs, the boys anyway, are on to her.  She persists, however, in her method of driving others to madness by incessant and repetitive chatter.  She has probably never heard of (and I can't even remember who said it--it's been repeated many times in the service of totalitarian socialism) the adage, "A lie repeated becomes the truth," or "A lie repeated 100 times becomes the truth."

weirder yet is that Shiela and Gnatterly seem to have no idea that they are lying -- I was astounded at the number of times sheila said "Well, somebody put him up to it; I know I didn't" in reference to Matt going up on the block when she convinced Ryan at the last minute to put up James instead of Matt.  Some protection, eh? If she'd left well enough alone, Matt would have come back -- not that that is either a good thing or a bad thing.

They convince themselves of alternative realities effortlessly and, it seems, unconsciously, and then believe the alternate to be the truth.

The weirdest bunch of people!
--Alí

I think Natalie won't win just because she thinks America LOVES her and I do not buy that soooo I think being realistic it won't be her but thats probably going to be thrown in my face to and then we will hear about the 7's all flipping week.

As for Sheila, she starts thinking about the letter and pictures and her HOH room, she will get too far ahead of herself and I think that makes her worse.

I'll stick with Sharon. I know its a gamble but I will risk it. Its 50/50 either way (the sides are split).

I am laughing reading the posts of Natalie being her normal delusional self. She is so sure she'll get every question right and will win it.

I bet she will answer most of them wrong. She will be lucky to get one right because she doesn't think the same way as America does. That will be hilarious.

I also loved the BB9 CBS show Sunday with the church music following the Gnat to the house and the sci-fi inspirational music when she read her Bible and then saw Eight -- count 'em, Eight! -- curtains and ran downstairs to share this latest epiphany, then sat under the Moose head talking to herself.

A great montage, CBS!

I would be kind of shocked if Nat did win. I think Sheila is going to win this one. Hope she changes her mind about evictions, James needs to leave first; but Josh definately needs a good feel of the block.

Well OF COURSE she's going to win, because there are going to be EIGHT questions about SEVEN Houseguests, and EIGHT+SEVEN is 15, which divided by 3 is 5, which is the same # of letters as "Matty" and of course Matty loves her, because he pushed her away when he was evicted but only because he wanted to hold her so much.  And there are 4 colors in the puzzle and puzzle has six letters and six letters plus four colors equals ten which has three letters in it so three times ten = thirty and thirty minus eight is twenty two which is two times 11 and Natalie was born  in November so it will be a double eviction.  Not only that but 7 x 8 = 56 and 5+6 = 11 - there's that November thing again - so obviously God is behind it because the seventh book of the Bible is Judges and after all Chelsia is judging Nat so Chelsia will be judged by Matt in the sequester house on how good she is in bed...uh forget that part.

The Lovely Mrs. Bhazlewood says it makes her head hurt worse, and not even Gnat can think of all that.  Perhaps I picked a bad day to go off the anti-psychotics.....

I just looked in at bios and saw that Adam has a Master's in Fashion Design/Marketing and studied at Parsons and in Italy.  He must have been just dying at Gnatterly's "portraits," which all look like the same person and her calling herself "an artist."  I think I'd like to see Sharon and Adam win, for the way they've held back all along with all the nuts around them!

I see why BB paired him with Shiela: her bio says she's a "former model;" BB apparently ididn't give too much thought to the word "model." However, Adam should count his lucky stars that the Gnat's claims to be an artist didn't saddle him with her!

Shiela should have been long gone for her outrageously self-centered cruelty to Adam from the moment she laid eyes on him; I have never seen anyone act like that in private in front of the person they're making rude comments about, let alone on national television.

O.K., that's it.  I'm now officially rooting for Adam and Sharon, the coolest heads in the house.

Well, I'm anxious to see what shakes out tonight.  Didn't get to computer in time to place my votes, though most are agreed.  Chelsia, however, would be the one I'd pick as most likely to donate to charity and the Gnat as the one who would most embarrass me at a charity event -- or anywhere.

I think I'd choose Ryan to lead me into battle, maybe Sharon -- she's a great planner.  James is a logical choice though.  The only one I really disagree on is the who I'd be most embarrassed to take to a fund-raiser.  Sharon would be perfect.  Natalie and/or Shiela would be most embarrassing...and I think Josh would spend the most time in front of a mirror for a press conference, though the choice of Gnatterly was a funny one, since she (and Shiela) would be the most likely to "be ready for their closeups."

Just read this in the daily recap thread...
Quote
Natalie feels it, shes going to win. 7 is Mattys number, 7 is the number of God, its down to 7 people. She was born on the 7th. Shes going to win it, she can expierence the room tonight. She knows it.

And I that I was making all that stuff up.....   :ascared

Marvellous!  :wohoo:

I was playing Crazy Eights with the bible, checking the eighth book, the eighth verse in Genesis, and taking out every eighth word as a new text . . . and then settled on Matthew 8: I haven't played with the words yet for two reasons.
One, when I got into Matthew, I realized that the Gnat has been reading that chapter over and over, as   her "scriptures" are all coming from there, and
Two, I realized that she had "bought the easy version," so any mystical numerical significances (sp? ) would be pretty far-fetched, and for verisimilitude, I should be using "the easy version," which I believe is the latest revision, past the Revised Standard.

Great work on the numbers game here!

I'm off to see if BB is coming on at 7 or 8 here -- oooooohhhhh!  It comes on at either SEVEN or EIGHT when it plays, and it's the NINTH BB, which is also a half-season special, just before the TENTH at the regular time, 7-8-9-10....

I chose Chelsia because of her background and education and the comments that she made about abortion and women's rights.  She seems to be a very socially conscious person.  Though the comments were directed at an individual, it was the snowballing of feelings she has had about the Gnat and her self-delusion; she made a very valid point, that "We fought for those rights and those rights are there not to be abused; it's not a form of birth-control [for careless, unthinking, and delusional people like you], and using it that way endangers the right for others."  It was a global view of a societal issue -- a global view highlighted by an offensive individual (the Gnat) who also highlighted other issues for Chelsia to the extent that one of them -- the most global -- bubbled out during her crash and burn beginning Saturday night.

It has been hard for everyone to watch the Gnat following "Matty" around like a dog in heat (sorry, but that's the image), and even Chelsia said in front of all she'd belt him one if she ever heard M talking about N again the night of the disco balls.  She bit her tongue all along, and then when the Gnat somehow latched onto her as the cause for Matt being voted out, it was all too much -- which has nothing to do with why I said Chelsia would be most likely to give to charity.  Sharon also is a choice, and Adam is also a choice, and again,  I'm cheering Sharon and Adam along now.

I think it's on at 7 here, so I'm off downstairs to the tube.
