Probably, she's been in the biz a long time and has many friends.

I have seen her on interviews and I think that is pretty much her, she likes to joke all the time.

I read that gossip and don't believe it for a minute. You are right, joking around and being witty is HER. Very naturally so! I'm older than her & always thought her wittiness was natural! I like Marie, but didn't feel she was a good enough dancer to win.

I've rooted for Helio practically from Day 1 and felt he worked the hardest and made the most improvement. His charisma is contagious! Whata guy! He does remind me of Fred Astaire the way he dances so
smoothly.

And he had a wonderful partner/teacher...she is so cheerful and LOL all the time. They were very well matched...a big plus...but Helio is a naturally happy guy. I just love him to pieces!!

Freshly minted Dancing with the Stars king Helio Castroneves has lost his queen. "I can confirm that Aliette Vazquez and I have called off our engagement and are no longer together," Castroneves tells People. He then adds, "At this time I would prefer to keep my private life private."

Indeed, Helio gave no hint of his romantic misfortune during his drop by Wendesday's The View, Afterward, he explained to TV's Extra that his appearance on the talker was "about [Dancing with the Stars]. I didn't want to put my personal life in that moment."

Translation: Aliette didn't want that trophy anywhere near her.

The news comes just hours after the racecar driver raised the mirror ball trophy in triumph on Tuesday’s Dancing finale with his pro partner Julianne Hough.

Earlier in the season, Castroneves pushed back his engagement, telling Entertainment Tonight “we postponed it for a little bit until next year.” “Everything is happening so quick. The (IndyCar Series) championship is over, the dancing started, and basically, I was like, ‘Ali, let’s take it easy. Otherwise, we will be divorced before we get married!’”

Castroneves isn’t the first DWTS contestant to have a wedding take a back seat to the ABC reality series. Last May, Castroneves’s partner on the show, Julianne Hough, also postponed her wedding to ex-fiancé, fellow dancer Zach Wilson, because she was so busy preparing for the current season.

It's kinda sad, but guess we'll see what happens eventually. Helio & Julianne are a beautiful couple, but the breakups with their x'es may be totally unrelated to them as a dance couple. Who knows!

It's pretty shocking though.

I guess it goes along with the DWTS Curse of bad luck.

At least all the bad news reported this season didn't affect the show.

Mark Ballas injured his shoulder and taken away by ambulance:

Dancing star MARK BALLAS (SABRINA BRYAN's former partner) was injured while performing on tonight's "Dancing with the Stars." Ballas injured his shoulder and was taken away by ambulance to be treated. Watch this video to hear what Mark's "Dancing" co-stars have to say about the incident.

I can't believe how horrible this season was. I wasn't a fan and I was about reading to start turning it off after Sabrina was voted out. And then Marie fainted, and with parents dying and injuries, it was so horrible.

In spite of the bad things the entire cast was great. I didn't see Seas 1 or 2, but of the last 3 seasons, this was the best imo.

Things happen that no one has control over, and I think both Jayne & Marie handled it very well. They had support from the other dancers. Just being involved on the show helped them w/ their grief by keeping them occupied.

Maybe Season 6 will be free of bad things happening!

Latest update from TMZ and with Helio at the airport was Julianne... there is a video on the website. Interesting.....

Speed racer Helio Castroneves proved he can do a pretty deft pirouette -- when it comes to dodging questions about his love life, that is.

TMZ caught up with Helio at the airport in New York this afternoon, and he chatted up a storm! But when asked about getting dumped by his ex-fiancee and if he was more than dancing partners with Julianne Hough, the dancer-driver hit the brakes, saying only, "My personal life is my personal life." Julianne just giggled off all the rumors, hoarsely.

Meanwhile, Helio watched a fan mambo for him, and even got on the phone with the guy's mom -- but still, no dirt on the breakup.

Has their fancy footwork seguéd into footsies? Dancing with the Stars' Helio Castroneves — whose engagement to his long-distance love very recently broke off — was spied on Wednesday night with pro partner Julianne Hough at NYC's hot spot Tao. According to the New York Daily News, the rumored-to-be-together duo was "canoodling at a side table" and looked "seriously smitten."

Julianne is spinning the closeness as purely platonic, telling People, "I love Helio like he is my brother. We are the best of friends." And we all know what that was really about for Marcia and Greg.

For what it's worth, fellow dancer Jennie Garth tells Inside Edition "it's not true" that a fling with Julianna was behind Helio's broken engagement, adding, "There was no romance going on between Helio and Julianne whatsoever." (Notice her verb tense, scholars.)

That said, at this point can ABC officially retitle the show "Dating with the Stars"?

Julianne & Helio along with a few others are at Walt Disney World filming the Xmas special to air on Xmas day. Sabrina, Mark, Drew Lachey & Joey Fatone to name a few among others will be on it too.

Dancing with the Stars champs Helio Castroneves and Julianne Hough will be taking their act on the road. The Season 5 winners will be joining the 37-city Dancing national tour "for about a week's worth of dates," says Hough, who is vacationing in Hawaii.

The tour, which also features Marie Osmond, Sabrina Bryan, Wayne Newton, Drew Lachey, Joey Lawrence and Monique Coleman, steps into high gear on Dec. 18 in Seattle. "Helio saw that everybody wanted to do the tour and didn't want to be left out," says Hough. She didn't want to be left out, either, but her schedule didn't allow for two months of traveling. "I had a blast doing the last tour and if we could pop in there and do a few dates, that would be great."

While still unsure of the specific cities where they'll sashay onto the floor, Hough says it looks like they'll perform in Indianapolis (Jan. 18), Nashville (Jan. 19), and Greensboro, North Carolina (Jan. 26.). "That side of the country is much more likely," she says.

It's more likely because it's more convenient. Hough will be spending the next couple of months flying in and out of Nashville, working on her first country-music album, for Universal Music. And Castroneves, who lives in Miami, is preparing for his next racing season, which begins in March.

As for rumors of their romance, Hough says she's taking it all in stride. She's already been through this once before with her last partner, Season 4 champ Apolo Anton Ohno. "I know the rumors aren't true so I'm fine with it," she says. "But I feel bad for everybody involved. I feel bad for Helio. I had the same thing happen when I was with Apolo (and broke off her own engagement), so I totally understand."

Hough and Ohno had a mini-reunion at the Dancing finale last week. "Oh, it was so good to see him," says Hough. But right now, she's soaking up the sun and still recovering from the strep throat that got her down during the last week of competition. "The sun is going to be great."

Julianne Hough, professional ballroom dancer and two time winner of ABC’s hit show Dancing With The Stars, is about to launch her new career as… wait for it… a country singer. Yep, thats right. DWTS’s own Julianne Hough will be dipping her toe into the muddy waters of Nashville. Hough was quoted as saying, “I just signed with Universal Records, so I’m going to be singing! I have my first album out in April, and my first single’s out in January. I’m excited!”

Hough actually released her first country music single “Will You Dance With Me” on iTunes in May 2007. The song rose to #8 on the iTunes “Top Country Songs” chart. Hough is in the process of recording her first country music album, due for release in the spring of 2008. She has signed with Universal Music Group’s Mercury Nashville.

The show may be over, but the drama isn't. As a nearly sold-out crowd of 6,000 settled into Seattle's Key Arena Tuesday night for the opening of the Dancing with the Stars national tour, the announcer made a statement no one wanted to hear: Due to illness, Cheryl Burke would not be dancing. As loud groans filled the auditorium, you had to wonder what fresh disaster had befallen the show and one of its most popular pros.
"Last night, during the run-through, I was cramping and in pain," Burke tells TV Guide exclusively. "I couldn't even stand up straight." Burke, who was rushed to the hospital, was told that it is a possible case of appendicitis. She will fly home to San Francisco on Wednesday for a second opinion from her family doctors. "I hope it doesn't require surgery," she says. If it does, Burke will be off the two-month tour for an undetermined period of time.

"It's a disaster," says pro Louis van Amstel, who is choreographing the tour and has had to rearrange his lineup so many times he's stopped counting. Karina Smirnoff has stepped in to partner with Drew Lachey, on top of dancing at least a half-dozen more numbers with Van Amstel. "Cheryl can't be gone for more than a week," says Smirnoff. "I won't let her!"

The company arrived in Seattle on Sunday night, giving themselves — they thought — plenty of time to work out the kinks on Monday and Tuesday before the opening night of the 37-city tour. But after Burke got sick, numbers were scratched, partners were changed, and Tuesday became a new dress rehearsal for a radically revamped show. "We had a couple of moments when we ran onto the floor at the wrong time, in the wrong place, in the wrong direction," says Smirnoff. "But that won't happen tonight."

Dancing with the Stars two-time champ Cheryl Burke has been cleared by doctors to dance.

The 22-year-old Burke suffered from severe abdominal pain on Tuesday night, the first night of the DWTS tour. She was rushed to a
Seattle hospital, treated and released. She was examined by her personal San Francisco physician as well.

The mystery illness caused Burke to sit out two shows—Tuesday in Seattle and tonight in Sacramento.

Dancing’s tour spokesperson tells PEOPLE today that Burke “is not suffering
from appendicitis and has been cleared to rejoin the tour on Friday, December 21 (in San Jose).”

This is the third consecutive tour for Burke, who is dancing on the road with her season two partner Drew Lachey.
