I just got a message from another web site that says Dick was caught with a letter from home that was incrypeted and that he was going to get a penalty vote.  Any one else heard this?

I know that Dick received a letter from Vincent as part of his HOH reward. The problem seems to be that he very openly talked about the letter having clues in it--something about the first/last letters telling him who not to trust and something else about if a girlfriend was going home it meant something too?

The real problem seems to be that he discussed this on the feeds, in essence bragging on receiving the hidden code. We all know that outside communication is expressly forbidden and so there seems to be a movement afoot elsewhere to have him either disqualified for cheating or at least to receive a penalty vote.

I would be interested to hear what y'all think about this? Was it cheating...or not? Did it matter since the info was outdated, or was the intent enough? Should he be penalized...or not? Would CBS actually do anything about it?

I can't see how Dick would be penalized since he wasn't the one who brought the letter into the house.  It is BB's fault for allowing them to have letters.  This code stuff has gone on before in other seasons so they know better.

I have heard others say that Daniele cheated on the bat hanging comp. Don't know how true that is but from what I saw she had the rope wrapped around her shoulder, but it wasn't made clear to us if that was allowed or not. 
How do we know that message from vincent is real that Dick missed code in the letter.  And even so it is very hard for a player to cheat that way as they don't know if/when they would be able to get HOH and the information is probably out dated by that time.  I think for someone going into the game having a plan of coded letters to begin with is wrong on alot of levels.  There are tons of consipiracy theories out there.  And I think alot of it has to do with the fact of the technology of the internet now.  People notice more things, and some of it is if your favorite player is not doing so good then people try to find ways to discredit the other players.  I for one have not agreed with some of the things this season but as we have heard many times hate the game not the player.  ok.. thats enough from me

I think the thing is that what if Dick would have won HOH that night and Jessica and Eric were still there? Those were the two he couldn't "trust" according to him from the letter.

What pisses me off is that Dick goes around saying hes never lied, hes played this game blah blah blah, but then BEFORE he even went to the house him and his son talked about codeing his HOH letter? WTF!

CBS won't do a damn thing, Daniele has clearly admitted to cheating (thats why her shoulder hurt from the bat thing, when they asked her why it hurt she told Jen/Kail exactaly why it did).

And what if that isn't Vincents message. So what? Dick ADMITTED to it on the live feeds. Plain and simple.

As the saying goes, one bad apple spoils the whole bunch.

I dunno.. last year BB had a final 2 competition that was clearly beyond Janie's capabilities because you need upper body strength which favored Booger, not to mention Julie screwed up the instructions for the first competition and disqualified Janie by giving the wrong instructions. Stuff happens.

BB didn't give him the letter until the evictions were over with and even at that Dick didn't get the code. He said he forgot all about it and he really didn't try to decode the message. He blew it off. (I do agree with Vincent, his dad SHOULD keep his mouth shut.) For all we know other's had code set up as well, Zach has talked about his last letter over and over again, saying it made him feel better.

It made him feel better because he was depressed (at least thats what I heard him say). Alot of them talk about their letters over and over.

I just think if you admit to cheating which Dick did, then he should be penalized. And I said the same thing when someone I liked did wrong (Jen), but becuase America hates her CBS actually does something about it. What if that J wasn't for Jen or Jessica? What if it was for Jameka? You never know.

CBS and BB's moderator are shameful.  They have allowed Dick to Verbally abuse people.  Threaten people. Phisically abuse people and blatenly cheat.  If they think that will get them ratings and viewers they are mistaken.  Why haven't they disqualified him for openly admitting that he has cheated and not followed the rules of the game?  Are they so desperate!  We all watch this program to see stratagies and know that they can lie to get to the end but never thought CBS or their sponsors would put up with what Dick has done to this game!  Wake up sponsors and do not condone this cheating which will effect how people will see all types of reality shows.  The person that is responsible for enforcing the rules should be fired and somone who has some character should be hired!

Is anyone else out there upset with CBS?  They have allowed Dick to verbally and physically abuse and threaten people and to openly admit to planning to cheat by getting a coded message then to actually receive the letter and then to blatantly admit to it and for his son to also admit to it.  If CBS takes no actions to disqualify or to give him a penalty it makes you think they do this in all the reality shows.  Step up CBS and have some backbone!

Of course not!  This is a game.  A few have talked about Dick burning a "crying" woman, but wasn't it Jen who was actually physically attacking Dick in the first place.  I think she just got what she was asking for.  She also destroyed his private property.  As far as "planning to cheat", isn't that part of the game in the first place?  And I am positive that Dick's son wrote that letter between the time that Dick won HOH and the time he entered the room.  I have heard nothing from his son admitting that he sent a coded letter to his father.  I think you need to calm down and realize that this is just a game and all is fair in love and war!

first of all something has gotten them viewers this year as I read somewhere this was the highest rated BB ever.  Second about the Dick cheating.  It has not been proven that he did cheat, or even attempted to cheat.  Think about this for a minute.  Dick is very much aware we are here listening to everything going on in the house.  IMO I think he may have been trying to start a controversy out here which it seems has worked.  Everywhere you go every message board is full of conspiracy theories.  I don't see anything changing the game from here on out.  Tonight Jameka will be evicted then they will go on to the 3 part HOH comp. just as in past seasons.  No amount of writing, calling CBS or Allison Grodners office is going to change anything.  Lets all just watch this thing play out to the end.

It isn't fair to begin with.  It is the producers who manipulate the game.  What do you think goes on in the DR?  Look at the comps they tend to favor the person they want to keep in the game.  It is a TV show and the houseguests are just pawns.

Well said FNF, I think when people's fav players are gone they are left grasping for a reason/someone to blame like cheating.  I am not saying that is the case on this board but maybe the case for all these "theorys."  I think its great that people are tuning in and talking about it, gives the office cooler talk aboost!  In perspective, I don't hink you can cheat at getting votes from your housemates. 

In a week and a half we'll all be starting over with survivor and this BB season will be "In the books."

Hi Georgia Peach! Dick annoyed me enough with this one to finally post...it wasn't just intent...he did cheat...just because the information wasn't helpful doesn't mean he didn't commit the deed. I was cheering for him and Daniele until that happened...now I can't stand for them to win...who knows what else has happened that they got away with.

dick said it on the live feeds does not make it so.  He could have been playing to the internet feeders.  He knows people listen in at all times.  If BB thought something fishy was going on they would have taken care of it by now.
