Information:
"Big Brother 8" debuts a week from tonight (Thursday).. and we have your
first look at this summer's houseguests.. all vying for the half-million dollar
prize.
It wouldn't be "Big Brother" without a special "twist" to keep the
contestants on their toes.
And THIS season's twist literally "rivals" all the others.
Julie Chen takes a look.
So... who will be spending the summer inside the "Big Brother" house? They are
fourteen men and women from all different walks of life... locked away from the
rest of the world for more than two months with complete strangers. Or ARE
they?
Julie: So, what twist can the houseguests expect this year? 27
Allison: What's going to happen on opening night, some of the
houseguests are going to find out that they will be locked in this house with
the last person they'd ever want to see walk through that door.
Yes, some of the men and women you're about to meet are sworn enemies,
real-life rivals... but we can't tell you WHO until the "Big Brother"
premiere.
AMBER
My name is Amber, I am 27 years old. And I'm a cocktail waitress at Caesar's
Palace. I can weasel my way with anybody. It doesn't matter. People just tend
to love me. and I'm very charming. And I'm a little weasel and you don't even
know it.
NICK
My name's Nick, I'm 25 years old, I'm from Minnesota, single. I think I'm a
very good looking guy, I'm a charmer with the ladies. That's going to play into
my benefit with all the ladies in the house.
JEN
My name is Jen, I'm 23 years old. I currently live in Beverly Hills. I'm a
bikini model, but at the same time, like, a computer nerd. Oh, I am single.
DICK
Evil Dick. 44. I've run nightclubs, I run bars. I've promoted concerts. Why do
I think I have a shot? Manipulating girls is kind of a way of life for me.
JESSICA
I'm Jessica, I'm 21, from Hazeville Kansas. I'm outgoing, and I'm smart. I'm
competitive, and I'm loyal. I'm loyal until you backstab me, and then I'm your
worst enemy, so watch out.
Allison:
So, this year, we have this, oh, crazy 6'-4" gentleman from Chicago, who is
just over the top.
JOE
What's gay and has two thumbs?
ALLISON:
And he is smart, and he is evil. Let's see, we have a mom from Oregon, a small
town in Oregon, and she is probably more conservative than some of the people
that we've had on our show before, which I think is very interesting.
KAIL
In Oregon, I hate to say, but I am a republican.
JAMEKA
I'm Jameka. I'm from Temple Hills Maryland. I'm 28. And I am single. I have
only been around black people the majority of my life, 99 percent. So it'll be
interesting. It's more than just winning the money for me.
ERIC
I'm Eric, I'm 27 years old. I think I have a charisma that will rally people
behind me. and when I start cutting people's throats, they'll never see it
coming.
ZACH
I'm Zach. 30 years old. From Tallahassee Florida. Went to Florida State. Go
Seminoles!
DANIELE
My name's Daniele, I'm 20 years old. I work at Hooters, I'm a server.
MIKE
My name is Mike, I am from Three Lakes Wisconsin, I'm 26 years old. 36 And I'm
a painting contractor. And I'm single.
DUSTIN
My name is Dustin. I'm 22 years old. I'm from Chicago. I am a salesman. So I'm
pretty good at selling things. Including myself. To complete strangers.
But they WON'T all be complete strangers. "Big Brother" always warns... expect
the unexpected. Like... living with a rival you never want to see again.
JOE: Like, they'll bring them in and be like, you screwed me over, and now I'm
gonna get you back. That's what I'm kinda worried about, but I don't think
they'll do that. I hope!
