Final numbers are out
Amazing Race
- 8.691 million viewers
- 5.4/9 HH
- 2.8/8 A18-49
Not the best, but ratings across the board were down. Whether from a large state of reruns (or "Special" programming or to teh strength of new episodes of Sorpranos and the excellent Planet Earth discovery series (if it wasn't for TAr, that s what I would be watching).

Dateline NBC won the 8-9PM
time slot. The usual winner Extreme Makeover: Home Edition retreated to the
second place. That means, The Amazing Race got the third place although the
actual ratings number was up as the season is near the end and competition
gets intensified.
