Gang, we done good, even if I say so myself
Had it all down pretty tight except for the second task for the DETOUR - the brickyard was never shown. But we had the ROADBLOCK down cold. We speculated that the first ELIMINATION would occur before the over-night wait for "early departure times", and we had the WALL CLIMB as the task that had to be done to reach the pit stop on top of the Great Wall. I think we had half of the early elims right, but were off on the second pair. No comment yet in the press that two of the four "ethnic" type couples lost out on the first two elims. We have the Asian pair and African-American pair still in the race.
Now it is on to Mongolia.
I wonder if this is going to be the pattern to have a hard task at the spot of the pit stop before teams reach the mat??? Should lead to some interesting times.
I haven't checked the other threads yet, but to my first quick look the producers are playing it close to the vest on the quick pix in the opening and seem to concentrate on scenes from China, Mongolia, and Viet Nam with just the one shot of the Kuwait water towers. Will look closer later today.
But we have started off with a bang on TAR10. Thanks to Puddin
for keeping us on the straight and narrow
