  • Yup, we didn't win. Damn.
Patrick Vaughn from TAR 7 posted this on his Facebook Timeline about 3 hours ago:

Meeting Mom and Dad in Hermosa Beach for lunch and I pulled up next to an Amazing Race team presumably racing to the finish line. That was strange.

@xxx I saw 4 teams and it was about 9:30am this morning

Phil has been posting more pictures to his Twitter account since the race ended. They are all on Instagram and I can't capture those, so I'll provide the links.  Hopefully someone can capture them and post them here.

Not a live sighting but,

Translated from Dutch:

'The Amazing Race' spotted around Marrakech

The American reality show is busy shooting for the 25th season and has recently been spotted with a large mysterious Kasbah near the lake Lalla Takerkoust outside Marrakech.

During a day trip out of town we spotted the police and the many tourist buses making the nieuwsgiergheid was aroused. The production staff did therefore all the curious to chase away as fast as possible, but the Moroccan crew members were kind enough to tell it to 'The Amazing Race' goes anyway.

Of course, no one wanted to tell what the other locations yet they want to hurt but it was tense in anticipation of the arrival of the participants. In all likelihood it was commissioned in preparation for a dance and drum at the famous Jemaa el Fna 'square in Marrakech.

The knockout competition involves teams of two people who have a relationship with each other (of married, divorced couples to colleagues, brother, sister and best friends) have to perform tasks. The program has been awarded several times with an Emmy award and can be followed on TV since 2001. Worldwide

"MY OX IS BROKEN" RETURNS!
« Reply #364 on: June 29, 2014, 03:41:50 PM »
Sharing this from an awesome on the ground person who wishes to remain anonymous! New info on the Philippine's legs!

:wohoo: :wohoo: :wohoo:

Quote
I went to Rosario, Cavite  and found the place mentioned in the clue they
got from Baclaran Church, Salinas Specials Food Haus.

By asking around, I was able to find out that all the teams arrived
at the same time around 9am. The clue contained a yellow paper and the teams had
gone to Pandawan and a tricycle shop in Barangay Bagbag II after they got the
clue, so I guessed it was a Detour. Teams headed to Naic, Cavite
afterwards.

So I went first to Pandawan (Rosario Municipal Fishport) in Barangay Sapa II, which
requires getting a bucket of fish from a boat on the sea and deliver it to the
port. I asked some locals who saw the filming and they said that 1 team did the
task and it was a M/F team. I didn’t go to Barangay Bagbag II since we already
have photo evidence.

I asked around more and found that there was indeed a filming of TAR in Sitio
Maname, just a tricycle away from the Municipal Hall. Sitio Maname is surrounded
by huge rice field.
A local described the task and he exactly described the Plow
Detour on TAR Season 5. He said there were 2 specific fields where TAR has
filmed, a field outside their house and a field few meters away. He didn’t know
what happened on the other field.

Boats seem not to be from Malta. Prob Phil?

Malta famous boats are mostly in Marsaxlokk, (you can google that), and they are taller, and more decorated, so I don't think so.

Boats are similar to traditional fishing boats in Sicily.   :snicker:

Did a bit of snooping at Sentosa, and it looks like we have a task - a task made for Adam/Bethany!

It's the wave machine at the Wave House, which Jobby reminded me was one of the finale tasks on TARA:4.
People also recall seeing contestants hailing taxis at Beach Station (600m/650yd away) at around noon.

We already have the Roadblock at the Marina Bay Sands (which incidentally was also a task in TARA:4).
Could they have copied most of the rest of that leg as well?

Edited to add: I also got inconsistent vibes at the Skyline Luge. It's possible they used it as the other side of the Detour, but I'm not too sure. They seem to have run out of ideas for Singapore as a destination... Come on, hire me, CBS! I can do so much better than that!
