I know it's not English language but I guess there's some detour/road block/speed bump task on that city regarding about reptile and mouse.  Is there a native mouse and/or reptile that's found in Japan or did the teams went to Japan's oldest zoo in Ueno: http://www.tokyo-zoo.net/english/ or that reptile thing is none other than Godzilla?

Hi, guys.

I'm the one whom kenchan was talking about.
Yes, I went to Narita airport this morning to spot racers according to the info kenchan gave us.

As I mentioned, I attempted to get close to the racers, talk, and acquire info they have.
However, those filming crews were tightly guarding racers as if they were VIP or celebrities.
So, I couldn't even get close within 20 feet or so.
When I tried to picture racers coming out of the exit door, the staff were as if trying to prevent me to do so by surrounding racers and block my shooting.
What I could get was only sneak taken crap pictures out of focus, and racers can be barely identified with them.
It's OK I post them here.  But please don't be disappointed looking at those crappy pictures.

Someone saw 6 teams on flight via HongKong,so I think maybe your friend didn't see other two teams.

Racers I could see were; Margie/Luke, Goths, Zev/Justin and Jamie/Cara, and that's it and I'm very positive I didn't miss Mel/Mike or any others.
Every single time racers came out of the door, the cameraman with 2 feet bazooka like video camera on his arm came out prior to racers.
With that sign, all the staff member turned busy and noisy.
That happened 3 times - Zev/Justin and Jamie/Cara came out of the door almost the same time.
After these 4 teams went by, everyone was gone quickly and nobody stayed there after two minutes.
...I felt it was over and impossible to guess where they went, so I went to work instead of spotting them.

I know you went WAY out of your way to do this for us, went early, took a long and costly ride to Narita and we SO appreciate it!!!
This info will really help us sort out who will be leading and trailing. Great job!!

Peach gave me the lead to the person who posted this update on Facebook.  I'm getting the details figured out as his account is somewhat sketchy, but he is visiting the Tokyo area so he's not a resident there - gotta cut him a bit of slack there, as Japan can be confusing to many foreigners.

What I have so far is the following (he gave me permission to share details):

I went there in the afternoon. I don't know which temple that was as I'm also a foreigner here but it's the one where you have to climb a number of steps before you reach the top. I saw cowboys, 2 black ladies, 2 pink-dyed hair ladies, and a Caucasian couple. I was able to take a picture of the cowboy and the black ladies.

2 pink-dyed hair ladies FTW!!!    

Anyway, I am checking with him when he was there and where the exact temple/shrine he was at. He later on did say it was during the afternoon and was located near the center of the city, so I am going on a whim and say it was the Tsurugaoka Hachiman-gu (鶴岡八幡宮).

(hold on, this is still unconfirmed)

This is a nice walk away from the JR Kamakura Station, and quite a popular tourist spot.

  UPDATE!
I just got confirmation that it was indeed at the Tsurugaoka Hachiman-gu Shrine (see the Google street view link above) on Friday afternoon where he spotted Jet/Cord, Kisha/Jen, Kynt/Vyxsin, and what I am guessing as Amanda/Kris or Margie/Luke.  Checking what time he saw them.

those freaking cheerleaders who complain them that the locals can't speak English?  Heck probably they're the last one to arrive at the pit stop and they have difficulties on communicating with the Japanese locals there.  I wish they'd been eliminated there or else...

They probably won't make the F3 this year.

I think the "2 pink dyed hair girls" could be Jaime/Cara. I don't think it's Kynt/Vyxsin; it's understandable that someone could possibly mistake Kynt for a girl but last time I checked his hair is completely black, isn't it?

I've got to admit this is what I've been thinking aswell especially if he was spotted wearing it so from a distance it could kind of look like his hair

On a side note do we know if the teams are still in Japan or could they have left already presuming no-one saw them at an airport???

Some Americans have been gabbing away at me all morning, but when we got a bit of a break, someone senior to me said "Hey, isn't that the Amazing Race that's on C(B)S?" So I looked it up, and sure enough, it was the American TV show that we watched in Cairns (Australia) last month. Not only that, the parent/child team I was talking about is featured on the home page (HP).

It's not clear what homepage this was referring to.
