Home from LA! Really dramatic flight! Medical emergency required landing mid way in Honolulu after dumping 30,000 pounds of fuel. Then storms near Fiji diverted us another 2 hours! Got to Sydney and no gate allocated! 8 teams of the "Amazing Race" were on my flight - two sitting next to me - drew maps and helped with their clues for Sydney! What a flight!

The clue was "Southern Swan on the Rocks" whcih as far as I could tell as a Sydney sider - this is a Tall Ship (the name I couldnt remember - but they all seemed to think it was a ship) that docks at the Harbour and is a floating restaurant "at the Rocks" which is where the First Fleet landed in Australia! Very historic site and VERY BEAUTIFUL and they had to take a TRAIN to CIRCULAR QUAY then RUN to the SHIP. Will go past the MOST beautiful of all Sydney Landmarks.

Positive ID for Gary and Mallory, Globetrotters and Goths all at The Rocks cluebox (under the bridge) this morning. Time unknown but I friend overheard them heading to LAVENDER BAY for a Roadblock. Something is not adding up here...

Oooo ohk just got this info from a friend of mine who is currently at Pyrmont Bridge (via facebook):
Ok their clue is to find a sculpture called to sail to stop. The guy they asked on the bridge didn't know. He saw six teams. After this they have to get on a plane to the outback.

Clue under Harbour Bridge at 'the rocks' ship
Travel to Lavender Bay...Roadblock
Back to Circular Quay and catch Ferry to Manly (30min intervals)
UnderSeaWorld (cant remember name) in Manly, possibly swim with sharks?
Detour involving some sort of sea rowing (cant remember) or metal detectors?
Pitstop: Cabbage Tree Bay

Pyrmont Bridge

All I know is that my friend was near the Australian National Maritime Museum near Cockle Bay and she is currently driving to Town Hall Square which is not that far away, which is logical as teams still travelled on foot after visiting the bridge. Traffic is a nightmare there right now but my friend is doing their best to try and get parked.

Pitt Street is right around there also... In the same vicinity as Circular Quay

And on one side of the bridge is Darling Drive, on the other is the Western Distributor Highway, but the bridge has a walkway on that side. It isn't a drive across bridge I believe the Maritime Museum is actually right next to the bridge, and the bridge links onto Captain Cook Cruises...see Google Maps

Just saw two guy's from the amazing race on the manly ferry either that or two American cowboys running around aus in jeans and cowboy hats. I asked them if they were on the amazing race but one of the guys said "can't say"
