As I said, still working on it. Have to see if there are flights that would allow timing for there to be an Oman leg...which I doubt.

If no Oman leg, then yes, that is correct.

we'll just have to wait and see

I would like to poke a big hole in the st. Petersburg to Dhaka via Muscat theory. It makes absolutely no sense based on real flight possibilities. Please see this posting I just made on

Yeah I agree, there may be an Oman leg, dropping the Bangladesh legs to 1 leg.

"In a final showdown to avoid elimination.."

Does it means that the previous leg (leg 6) was the Non-Elimination Leg? So in leg 7 we will have elimination round with 6 teams left. Gosh, i guess we'll have another linear leg.. russia to russia.. i hope not  :(
Well, i'm just guessing  :duno: ;)

In recent seasons, when there has been two legs in the same city (and not just the same country), there seems to be an NEL associated with one of the two legs.

The way I'm reading the episode descriptions for both St. Petersburg legs, I'm guessing the first leg may be an NEL.

One of the patterns I have seen on TAR....is they use the first 6 episodes to get rid of 5 teams.....then the next 5/6 episodes to get rid of 3 teams......then the finale. They move the NELs around.......but seems to work out pretty close.

Sort of like chess...........the opening, the middle game, the ending.

If anything, I would think Russia I is elimination and Russia II is NEL.

wonder if this could be "Gorodki" or "Bunnock", both variations of the Swedish lawn game called Kubb.

Based on the photos of this page and the promo caps, it looks like the gorodki takes place at the Peter and Paul fortress courtyards.

Except they're decoys.  This is the final elimination leg for the Elimination Station teams.

Okay Paron...want to prove that for us all?

That pre-supposes that
1) you have evidence of there being THREE decoy teams? That would be news to me...

2) You have proof that K/M are decoys? You have been persistently quoting this here and elsewhere so let's review your evidence...

I don't get it why it's not compatible with the timeline. They could still be competing against Michael & Kevin for last place in Russia II, with the latter obviously being the losers if that's the case. I base this on Kevin being pessimistic on the preview and that, according to the timeline they have a 50% chance of being out. So far this Season has been full of flips already...

Brook and Claire were confirmed spotted both in Hong Kong and in Korea. They are not going anywhere this week.

I think perhaps you may mean Mallory and Gary? Very sadly, they have not been seen past this point...

Oh...okay, I think I get you. do you mean the CBS press promo mentioning two teams battling for elimination? Not the real/actual elimination? ???

In that case, I see what you are saying...but take a look at the cap that has Michael still trying with no one in the next lane just then. Looks like Brook is gone...

I think you are not understanding what I mean. I know perfectly well that B&C were seen in Hong Kong. I'm just saying that in this particular leg, they could have accidentally slipped to the bottom of the pack, climaxing in the Roadblock showdown foreshadowed by TV Guide (Cap 15) in which the girls beat the boys to the Pit Stop. This statement does not imply in any way that the girls are eliminated at any point, sorry if I did not make myself clearer.

For the time, in cap 9 it looks like either 3:30 or 6:15. Unable to tell which without enhancing the image.

EDIT: Working on enlargement now, trying to avoid pixellation as much as possible.

EDIT EDIT: Upon further review- The second hand is pointing roughly to the 3. The hour hand is in the general direction of 9 & 10 and the minute hand is somewhere around the 6.

I hypothesize the time is 9:30 and approx. 15 seconds. Whether it is AM or PM is another story.

(12 is to the bottom left in the pic, the watch is beginning to slide down her wrist as she struggles with the plate)

I think your intrepretion from the previews is valid. To me, it shows that M/K got there early along with B/C. But as Peach has pointed out, Brooke finishes and leaves. I suspect that Michael had a really hard time and all the other teams came and went, except for the "other" team, mentioned in the press release. I think production wants us to think it is B/C. It may very well be B/C there at the end....I just dont think so. I think this will be like Lena/Kristie at the haybales.
