A reality television show star is in trouble with the law in Massachusetts, charged with flying to the Bay State to sell oxycodone pills.
Adam Jasinski, last year’s winner of the CBS show “Big Brother,” was charged today in U.S. District Court in Boston with possession of oxycodone pills with intent to distribute. He was ordered held in custody until another hearing Thursday.
FOX Undercover’s camera was at the North Reading police station early this morning capturing exclusive video of Jasinski being loaded into a police vehicle for his day in court. He was arrested there on Saturday night, just hours after flying into Logan Airport to allegedly sell oxycodone.
Authorities say in court papers that Jasinski had nearly 2,000 oxycodone pills on him when he flew from his home in Delray Beach, Florida to Logan Airport. A Massachusetts man arrested for allegedly dealing drugs earlier this month picked him up at the airport. The two then drove to a strip mall parking lot in North Reading to allegedly complete the deal, but DEA agents busted him there.
Authorities say Jasinski, whose nickname is “Baller,” flew into Massachusetts with drugs hiding in his pants. Jasinski allegedly confessed that he had been selling thousands of oxycodone pills all along the East Cost over the past several months, and had been funding his enterprise with the $500,000 price he won from the “Big Brother Season 9” show.
If convicted, Jasinski faces up to 20 years imprisonment and a $1 million fine

Did anyone see the following article from TMZ?
'Big Brother' Winner Arrested for Drug Dealing
Posted Oct 20th 2009 9:00AM by TMZ Staff
Adam JasinskiAdam "Baller" Jasinski won "Big Brother" in 2008 -- and now he'll be sharing living space with even more strangers behind bars ... because cops say he used his $500,000 winnings to fund a drug dealing business.
According to FOX 25, Jasinski was busted Saturday night by the DEA with 2,000 oxycodone pills during an attempted drug deal in North Reading, MA. Jasinki was thrown in jail and charged with possession of oxycodone pills with intent to distribute.
Cops say Jasinski admitted to funding his illegal venture with his $500,000 winnings from the show. He'll remain in police custody until his next hearing on Thursday.
Adam faces up to 20 years in the slammer and a $1 million fine.
UPDATE: Big Brother was definitely watching when Jasinski got busted -- the person he was allegedly trying to sell the pills to was a government witness who was wearing a wire.
Cops say Jasinski pulled a pill-stuffed sock from his pants and handed them over -- and that's when they swooped in for the bust.

Richard Hatch was just recently released from jail. If I remember correctly, he's at a halfway house but not quite sure, though.

Just another reason why it is so appropriate to call it the season that shall not be mentioned.

yeah he was let out and was under house arrest for the rest of his sentence, but he got sent back to jail like a week later cause the court said he was conducting interviews in the house that they didn't clear. Kind of a crazy reason, not sure how long he's gotta stay in there now.

Unless.... there is another writer's strike and TPTB decide to do a BB from the jail house. They could vote the "HG's out to move to another area in the prison. Now that I think of it, it does have possibilities... Slop would be a treat.

A little update on this in... Where else, the A&E section of the Boston Globe:
Adam Jasinski, a past grand-prize winner of “Big Brother,’’ will be held until his trial on drug charges. Magistrate Judge Leo Sorokin ruled yesterday at the US District Court in Boston there’s a serious risk that Jasinski, 31, would endanger the community or flee before trial. The reality TV winner from Florida allegedly had 2,000 Oxycodone pills when he was busted in North Reading two weeks ago. No further hearings are scheduled in the case. Jasinski, of Delray Beach, Fla., was arrested Oct. 17 on a charge of possession with intent to distribute Oxycodone. He allegedly told the feds that he used his prize winnings to purchase large amounts of the drug. After his arrest, according to the affidavit, “Jasinski stated that for the past several months he had been obtaining thousands of pills of Oxycodone and reselling them to customers all along the East Coast.’’ Jasinski pocketed $500,000 for winning “Big Brother Season 9.’’
