For the third season of The Biggest Loser, the show has lost trainer Jillian Michaels, but has picked up about 36 contestants.

Yes, The Biggest Loser 3 has 50 cast members, one from every state. That’s one large-ass cast. Together, they weigh 14,384 pounds, or an average of 287.68 pounds each. Assuming the 50 aren’t just semifinalists who will be quickly narrowed to a core cast of 14 or so, they comprise the largest reality TV show cast in the history of the genre.

They’ll be trained by both touchy-feely Bob Harper and Jillian’s replacement, Kym Lyons. NBC’s preview for the new season offers little other information, but promises “new rules.” There’s no word yet, however, exactly how the contestants will be eliminated, or what changes there are to the game.

The show returns Sept. 20—a Wednesday, the show’s new night—with a two-hour premiere starting at 8 p.m. ET.
Because sometimes the way to feel good about yourself is by making someone else feel bad. I am tired of making others feel good about themselves.

Do you know why Jillian was dropped?
AT THE END OF THE DAY, IT'S STILL JUST THE END OF THE DAY!
