Guys...

Weaver mom says the title. Just heard it!
I thought that when we fought, I was to blame
Now I know you play a different game
I've seen you dance with danger; still wanting more
Add another number to the score

the Weavers say the title !!!

If it's not another editing dub over. For tonights show they showed Weaver mom in a boat saying "they are so rude" when it was actually another team (I think the Linzs) making that statement about them on the bus.

Finding the suspension bridge may not be easy; it turns out there are lots of companies competing in the "canopy tour" business. A google image search for "canopy bridge costa rica" brings up about 150 hits; this is the closest I've come so far to the stuff pictured in #65-69, but I'm not yet ready to call it a match. Somewhere in here (see "Canopy Tours") might be the answer.

I know! I started looking and there are alot of them. I think I'm moving Costa Rica up on my list of vacations I want to take. It's gorgeous.

  San Jose International Airport

 Banana Plantation

The workers load the banana bunches onto this track and pull them out by tying several bunches to a rope that’s hooked around their waist. Then they walk them out.

Web clues

1 When a Team is Yielded at a Roadblock, they pass the time away talking trash about their competition .

2 Two Racers watch in awe as one member of their team outmuscles them.

3 Will a single coffeebean cause one team the race?

1. Hoping the Linzes Yield the Weavers  {l{ , karma....
2. Paolo's
3. ??

A lot of interesting material coming our way early. But watch out for the editing as some of it has been done in a way to mislead us.

For example:

Scenes 23, 24, 25, 26 show the Linz boys exiting a red van and note that it is parked on a dirt field (empty behind it) and this is cut together with scenes 27 and 28 showing the boys exiting a red van but now it is backed up to the forest and is parked on a paved parking area. So two different locations and two different times.

First guess is that the DETOUR is going to be carrying bananas (team effort) or carrying a stone idol somewhere (team effort) and is the ROADBLOCK another find the needle in a haystack or, rather, find a particular coffee bean in a sack of thousands! Another 10 hour task??

Looks like a night time departure from Panama and arrival in San Jose. Will check flights. Bunch points probably so Paolos lose their three hour (?) lead.

Going to be a Elimination round for sure.

Nice confessional by the Paolo's as team ..DJ is praising Papa , sounds like Papa hauled those banana's on his own .. but I do not like the body language , I wonder if the pic was taken in the Jungle near the banana plantation or at the pitstop?
Looks like another 1 day leg ??

Web promo is up , nothing new that I can  see .

Looks like something from Survivor 11 ..they have all sorts of carvings like that at around Tribal Council near the Tikals in Belize, I'll look around later Chateau , maybe they borrowed them  :cheeky:  ?

wow, that team photo of the Paolo's does not look good.  We don't usually get post-elimination interview shots like that, do we?  They all look unhappy, except DJ who looks resigned.  I hope it's not a "first to worst" scenario for them.

I dont think flights go from Panama City to San Jose at night. Unless they have charted two flights leaving at different times like they have done before.

The earliest flight I could find leaves Panama City at 6:00 in the morning to San Jose, Costa Rica, via TACA.  The flight last one hour. And I think Panama and Costa Rica are not in the same time zones.  Panama is one hour ahead of Costa Rica.   |#'

I thought teams did not have to pay for gas?   *(^

It looks like the Paolos leave the pit stop around 10 or 11PM; it looks like shots of them wandering around the streets of Panama City so perhaps a task to be done befoe getting the clue to fly to Costa Rica.  Doubt seriously they would even think of driving the Pan American Highway especially at night.

Some flights leave early;some leave later; a sampling:

TACA 522 Leave 6:00AM  Arrive 6:03AM (leave in central time arrive in mountain time)

COPA 116 Leave 10:15AM Arrive 10:30AM

COPA 524 Leave 11:00AM Arrive 11:17AM

That gives the teams a whole day of daylight to complete tasks.

My guess is they go next to Phoeniix, AZ. AirWest (Now USAirways) has a non-stop flight leaving 7:15AM arriving at 11:56AM

I wonder if the pitstops will all be for 36 hours on this trip?  If that is the case, the teams would be leaving in the late evening of July 17 and flying to San Jose on the morning of July 18.  If the pitstop in San Jose is late in the afternoon the 36-hour pit stop would have them ready to leave San Jose on the morning of July 20 which coincides with the date that someone reported seeing Phil at the San Jose Airport.

Could be the Bransens. The Bransen girl may have been at it long enough to start shedding clothes? The Gaghans are there and Linzs arrive after the Bransens and Gaghans have already started.

I looked at all the clothing and temps for the day. The roadblock must be early in the morning because everyone has on long pants and warmups. When you see the detours the Bransens are now in shorts and many now have their jackets around their waist. Temps for the day: Low 66 - High 82.

OK, I think I'm ready to call this: the coffee farm is the Doka Estate. Compare the bean-sorting shot (red roof, fencework) with the area around the drying flats, and compare the beanbag vidcap with a bag of Doka beans.

Looks good. Very nice work Slowhatch!  =]/

And look how close it is to the airport. This must be the first thing they do when they arrive because they are still in long pants and warmups.

In the vidcaps 41 - 46 where we see the YIELD for the first time, only five family pictures are shown (Linz, Paolo, Godlewski, Weaver and Gaghan) a male hand is holding the pix. Could this mean that the BRANSEN family is the family who yields. And who would be most likely to "trash talk" about another family? Weaver? Linz?
