"Think Like An Office Chair" -- A close race to the Pit Stop fuels an intense rivalry between two families, on THE AMAZING RACE: FAMILY EDITION, Tuesday, Oct. 18 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Phil Keoghan is the host of the series.

The families depart from the Space Shuttle in Huntsville, Ala. in search of the World's Largest Office Chair located in Anniston, Ala. Teams will pass through the International Motorsports Hall of Fame and the Talladega Motor Speedway, as well as Fairview Riverside State Park in Madisonville, La., in search of clues that will lead them to their next destination. The intensity of the Race takes its toll on one family member who has a breakdown on the way to the Pit Stop. Another team is paralyzed by fear and panics about whether or not to complete a task. Also, while their cars race side by side on a stretch of highway, one team shows their wild side when they "moon" another team as they pass.

So no more guesswork: teams go from Huntsville to Anniston, to the International Motorsports Hall of Fame and Tallladega Motor Speedway, and then to Fairview Riverside State Park in Madisonville, LA. It doesn't say when they will get to LA, but from the sun and shadows it certainly looks like noontime on July 13. So the actual pitstop could be later that day in New Orleans. That would put them on schedule to fly on July 14 to Beliz.

Who Who?? It doesn't say final 2 teams..first 2 teams ? could be some teams in-between , we've seen teasers like this in the past , I smell BS :whatever:

Weavers at Talladeaga, who of course are fine .

We see one of the Godlewski Sisters (Chris?) breaking down in the car, when on the causway crossing Lake P. then this is on the way to the pitstop. So we can assume that on the second day of this leg (July 13) the teams arrive at the Fairview Riverside Park from the overnight campout in Talladega (a 6 or 7 hour drive) , then the teams complete the DETOUR (Lumberjack or Blackjack) and then drive to the pit stop in New Orleans.

Then following TAR tradition the teams would proceed to do a task in New Orleans then drive to the airport and fly to Belize on July 14.

OR, they could do a task before the pitstop on the afternoon of July 13, and then go directly to the airport from the hotel in the morning. There are several flights leaving New Orleans for Belize between 5:30 and 8:30AM. Best flight leaves at 10:30AM.

I like the plan but only wonder why we don't get any shots of New Orleans? The Schroeders have a huge advantage here. Maybe they'll just pitstop there and they won't have any N.O. task until the next episode?? I hope so. I don't think Madisionville is any reason to go to La. I don't know what producers are thinking. There are so many uniquely La. things to do in the area and lumberjacking at a state park ain't one of them!

No. I think what Gaghan meant is that 2 groups finish the task before. The Weavers are still playing with the Gaghans so the Weavers are not the 2nd group.

The lumbers are: the pink ladies, the Linzes, & the Paolos.

So it has to be the Schroeders.

the Schroeders & the Bransens finish before the Gaghans so that's why she complains.

Puddin, I have to agree with Banzi (with the expanded pics) and say it's the Linz's sawing and not the Schroeders. So they show no shots at the park of the Schroeders, eh? Maybe they're already heading to New Orleans. They should know the shortest routes.

But Banzai posted this pic and you can see the 4th person. There are a minimum of 2 adult males (and probably a 3rd) which means it can't be the Schroders. I went back and looked for red shorts (bet you did too). 8-)' Guess those backpacks hold more clothes than we think. I didn't see them on any Linz's but I didn't see them on Schroeders either.
