Is it confirmed that Stephanie and Bobby Jon will be on the tribes? Why not just do another all-stars?

Rumors scant for 'Survivor: Guatemala'

The Orange County Register

A week before "Survivor: Palau" began, reports about who would leave the game when were already strong, and the whole path of the game was known to the hard-core fans very early on.

For "Survivor: Guatemala - The Maya Empire," the cupboard is largely bare.

This follows the pattern of the past few seasons: a well-spoiled outcome (Amazon, All-Stars, Palau) followed by one with more mystery (Pearl Islands, Vanuatu).

That's not to say we're completely scoop-free.

The worst kept "secret" in the history of "Survivor" - which the Watcher first reported in July - is that Stephenie LaGrossa and Bobby Jon Drinkard, the last two members of the ill-fated Ulong tribe of Palau, will be the mysterious returning players.

It seems that Stephenie will join the blue tribe and Bobby Jon the yellow, and that the blue tribe wins the first immunity challenge. If true, it will break Stephenie's remarkable string of 10 straight trips to tribal council.

Jeff Probst tells us that after the relatively cushy Palau, Guatemala will host the physically toughest "Survivor" yet. It begins with the tribes taking an 11-mile trek through the jungle.
