Aaron also seems to be wearing a black shirt as opposed to the blue one he was shown wearing in the other vidcaps.

Welcome, ckoh!! Hope you saty with us!

Guys, i'll post something someone posted in amazingracesucks by canadafan:

About the next pit stop. Maybe CBS is trying to make us think that it's in China because the people in that clip (#28) look like asian. So as we do not have pics of A/H in Hawaii, we all beleive they are toasted. Don't you think this is too easy?
But let's not forget that there's a "Chinatown" also in Honolulu, Hawaii. So what if...the 4 teams did some tasks in China before leaving for Hawaii where the pit stop really is. CBS may deliberately not showing us pics of A/H just to let us think they have been eliminated in China. They could easily have a roadblock & detour in Hawaii before arriving at their pit stop (#28) where one team (all guesses are good) is finally eliminated. If it's true, A/H could be in the final 3. The next morning they fly from Hawaii to their final destination in USA.

Do you guys think that's possible?

Haydon wears shirt tied around her waist ...

Hi-Fi ..I think Kris/Jon Adam/Becca & Kendra/Fred running through Chicago pretty much confirms that Haydon & Aaron don't make the final three..just my opinion , sorry .

Welcome ckoh !!  \|]
Could be that Aarons shirt just looks black its really hard to tell  ?

Outstanding job, Banzai.  The same fencing and the similar background look to make that a match.  I think it is the detour.

If one continues on HI 61, you'll come to Kailua.  Kaelepulu stream/canal/pond which empties into the ocean at Kailua looks very similar to the waterway that A/R and F/K are paddling on.  Unfortunately, I can't find an exact match.  Maybe some one else will be more successful.

Puddin, I saw on Sucks that someone thought that they read a sign during the lock roadblock that said Hua instead of Huang.  Hua Shan also has locks, a cable car, and white limestone mountains.  If the race goes to Xi'an, then Hua Shan would be a more logical destination.  Also, Xi'an has a market similar to the one that is shown in the screen caps http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.fu.org/jkl/anabasis/china/xian/goingtomarket.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.fu.org/jkl/anabasis/china/xian.html&h=330&w=440&sz=44&tbnid=YClL34SUfKkJ:&tbnh=92&tbnw=123&start=36&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dxi%2527an%2Bmarket%26start%3D20%26hl%3Den%26lr%3D%26sa%3DN.  (look towards the bottom of the page)

Puddin,  According to http://www.chinabasetravel.com/destinations/MajorMountains.htm, Hua Shan and Huang Shan are different.

{l{  I know Pedaler ..but I think its all relative ? I don't want to dwell on what I heard so I'll just say it one last time ..right in the beginning of the AOL promo "Alright  Xi'an we go"
fwiw~ I had a Beijeng theory but I pulled it because , well ... there just wasn't  enough evidence . I guess we will know in 3 days .. |#'

Puddin,  I'll let it go.  I'm agreeing with you that the race goes to Xi'an.  It just that when I saw this
Quote
Hua Shan/ Xi'an / Yellow mountain / Hua San/ Mt Huashan , whatever you want to call it = all the same place no matter how you Google it
I got a little confused.  Mt Huashan means five flowers http://www.travelchinaguide.com/attraction/shaanxi/xian/mt_huashan.htm.

Huang Shan  means Yellow Mountain.

banzai , i've been searching for tha builiding all day..right now im in Jinan! )_^>
Di Kou Road All-Day Market

Way out there theory ..what if the detour( one of them)  in China is to get produce to the market ?
Farmers and resellers still mainly use bicycle carts to bring their produce into the free market centers.  Even today, there are virtually no motorized vehicles performing this function.  I was surprised to see that each city has it own unique way of modifying a standard 2-wheel bicycle to transform it into a market cart. Follow the route from( Beijing to Mudanjiang , just as an example) to see how much the designs differ from city to city:

Hey Pedaler and banzai..I got lucky .. I was searching Xian rivers and this turned up Xian Market

Bonjour puddin, banzai, Pedaler et toutes,

You all deserve medals for your discoveries.  Maybe you already figured this out:
This finale city shot
(screen cap number 319 if it does not show here)
shows Park Tower in Chicago’s Magnificent Mile district.
One Magnificent Mile is also shown.

Also, I bet teams go to see the Terra Cotta Army at Xian.  It is of significant cultural and historical importance are TAR usually manages to hit those kinds of attractions (except for TAR4 in Marseille when they could have come here! but did not).

Adding more:
Image #305 of F&K has the landform Diamond Head in the background behind Kendra.  The city they are overlooking is Honolulu. You can see it better in #427.

Banzai,  You're doing some incredible stuff.

Quote
just saw the sunday promo. It's the same. No luck puddin.
I'm stuck. I'm still confused with Hua & Huang. Oh well!

Here's some thoughts.  In screen cap 202 by S1m0ne, Freddy and Kendra are arguing outside an airport in what appears to be the dead of night.  Based on the type of lattice type windows in the background, it looks to be Pu Dong airport in Shanghai.

Now, the last leg ended in the afternoon so the next leg will begin early in the morning.  Well, this site http://www.huangshantour.com/english/type.asp?typeID=25 shows that the only flight leaves Shanghai at 9pm so I don't think that F/K are at the airport for that flight.  That web site also says that the express train leaves Shanghai at 10pm and doesn't arrive until the next morning at 8:55am.  I don't see a long train trip happening either.  Beacuse of these transportation limitations, I don't think the race goes to Huang Shan.

Based on the next leg starting early in the morning, I think a flight to Xi'an is much more feasible.  I went to expedia.com and saw a 8:45am flight from Shanghai (PVG) to Xi'an (XIY).  Since Hua Shan is close to Xi'an and Puddin has found images to match Xi'an screen caps, I would guess that Hua Shan is the correct destination.

Of course, as you know, I could be all wrong.

The more I look at it the more I believe that the teams fly on the 8:00AM China Eastern flight 2152 from Shaghai to Xi'an. The flight takes 2 hours and 10 minutes to cover the 1509 km distance.  I found this picture of the West Peak of the Haushan Mountain which is 75 miles east of Xi'an.  It looks very much like the mountain behind Rebecca in AOL frame #43 and the sign these people are standing behind looks very much like the one seen behind Adam as he looks for something in his backpack.  I'm not good enough to transfer the picture here, but maybe someone else can.  It sure looks like a match to me.
