“The Pizza de Résistance” – Teams travel to Naples, Italy, where they must perfect their pizza-making skills, on THE AMAZING RACE, Wednesday, April 30 (9:30-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+ (live and on-demand for Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscribers, or on-demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the episode airs)*.

After all the times they've been to Italy, is this the first pizza-making task?

Kind of surprising for 37 seasons in, though I appreciate them for avoiding the obvious. They've never yet been to the Leaning Tower of Pisa, either.

Jonathan and Ana are working on a task related to Mandolinas. Not a surprise because this instrument is original from Italy and the most predominant of the configurations is the Neapolitan one.

Phil and the guy with the clue are in the only location we already had identified by the sightings, the Castel Sant'Elmo. The mountain behind him is the Mount Vesubio.

That's what I was hoping for, too, even just as a Pit Stop if this the first time in Naples. Vesuvius is right there in the background.

In the mozzarella task, the shirt of the guy providing the example belongs to Caseificio Pacera. If you look in Google there's also a picture of the same guy.

The task was performed at the Liuteria Anema e corde, in the number 30 of Via Port'Alba.
