Starting this thread a day early so we can savor this moment a bit longer! As of making this post, approximately 21 hours and 40 minutes before we are back on the airwaves.

And they are bringing back some iconic game pieces! "Every leg has something amazing happening". We get a snapshot of the whole season with clips of various future moments and legs. "We have to plan for the unexpected." Emotional outcries WILL happen down to a final showdown! Only one team will win the $1M prize and TAR! Establishing shots of L.A. 's Academy Museum of Motion Pictures with Bernie & Carrigain as the first people introduced next to Brett & Mark.

Han calls Holden the annoying brother. All 14 teams causing a ruckus on top of the museum! Phil welcomes everyone and loves the potential energy. He mentions the 14 teams and starts icebreakers.

Nick & Mike have applied for the last 7 years and thought they were getting punked when they got the call. Carson & Jack are Dungeons & Dragons players. Jeff 2x, Scott & Lori (Team Raid the Cage/8 Kids). Phil uncovers the Fork in the Road and 2 eliminations in the first leg.

All teams are rushing off down the stairs with Carson & Jack in the momentary lead. Courtney & Jasmin right behind and Lauren & Jackye in last for a bit. CLUE BREACH! ROUTE INFO: Fly to Hong Kong! Race to Tian Tan Buddha for your next clue.

Everyone going to Toyotas parked on the street. Jack lived in L.A. for four years and think they can head to the airport w/o directions. Melinda & Erika mention the urgency of 2 teams going home. Nick: "Seven years baby, it's happening!".

We come back from commercials to establishing shots of LAX and Jon & Ana seeing the parking garage. Courtney & Jasmin are parking with mom and daughter and the Dungeons & Dragons players. Ernest & Bridget see the entrance to the garage as well. Mark and Brett, Scott & Lori, and Nick & Mike arrive inside.

Jon & Ana are on the first flight! Ana does a jig and Jonathan cannot contain his excitement. Melinda & Erika check in 2nd along with Carson & Jack on the first flight as well. Courtney & Jasmin are also accepted.

"Does anyone need to go potty?" - Lori. Scott & Lori describe their family as crazy and amazing. They wanted to create nonrestrictive conversations with their kids. They support each other heavily.

Mark & Larry met on the Mississippi River and are broke rednecks, and belong in the same motorcycle club! "We're the old guys, that's it."

1st flight boarders are heading out with the reminder of 2 teams being eliminated. Second flight gets in an hour apart.

Hong Kong is home to 7.5 million people. Upon arriving, teams must climb all the way up to Tian Tan Buddha to pick up their next clue.

1st flight is off to taxis! Carson & Jack are heading out first. Melinda & Erika aren't worried about being first. They figure they have a cushion, but want to be slow and steady. Jon & Ana taking in the sights of the mountains and water. Courtney & Jasmin see it's foggy a bit. Carson & Jack see the buddha statue in the distance. Jon & Ana arrive!

ROUTE INFO: Take the ferry to Cheung Chau Island and search the promenade for the next clue.

Melinda & Erika and Courtney & Jasmin are 3rd and 4th to the clue box.

Jon & Ana used the taxi driver's phone to check for ferry times. They find out the ferry leave in 30-minute intervals. It is 8:32 in the morning. Carson & Jack's taxi takes an unexpected turn while Jonathan & Ana's went another direction. The DnD players are trusting they should be on the right way.

2nd flight arrives 11 minutes earlier than planned! All other teams getting in the taxi queue. Scott & Lori, Han & Holden hit the ground running. Jeff 2x, Jackye & Lauren, and Mark & Larry off in their taxis too.

Jon & Ana arrive at the ferry terminal first! Tickets! "Emergency!" - Ana :funny:

Carson & Jack also arrive, but will they make the ferry? Jon & Ana got a SUPER early ferry and pulled off breaking out into the lead! :cheer:

Jon & Ana's intro describing their relationship as once-rocky and watching TAR helped create a neutral space for them. Melinda & Erika and Carson & Jack both see they missed the first.

Lauren & Jackye: "Oh Lord have mercy!". Lauren is scared of stairs and is already terrified. :funny: She describes a traumatizing and injurious moment that made stairs become a fear for her.

All other teams have caught up to the ferry. Alyssa & Josiah reiterate the double elimination. Jackye & Lauren are dead last as the only team that didn't make the 2nd ferry.

Jon & Ana get off the 1st ferry. Clue box! ROADBLOCK: Who's ready for some ups and downs?
One team member must traverse a bamboo scaffold used for the annual bun festival to pick up the clue at the top.

Ana does the task and starts going up!

This is the first time teams will ever encounter a FITR. Only seven teams can choose either option, creating a parallel racing experience.
