Previously on TAR, 9 teams scurried around Santiago, Chile! Danny's navigation came to the rescue for Angie. Sunny & Bizzy drove into last place, but staged another comeback! In a battle for 1st, Juan & Shane were edged out by Ricky & Cesar to ring in their third one in a row. Meanwhile, Kishori & Karishma, frustrated, were out of it.

Remaining 8 teams fly into Cordoba. Group 1 of Ricky & Cesar and Juan & Shane depart. ROUTE INFO: Plaza de Bicentenario!

It's revealed to be a mega leg! Ricky are gauging their energy. Cesar says whatever they are doing is working. Juan says they were emotionally invested and want to run a "clean" race.

Group 2 of Angie & Danny, Rod & Leticia, and Amber & Vinny go. Amber & Vinny want to follow Danny right off the bat. "Start of a mega leg, let's go!" - Danny

We return to Cordoba as the boyfriends are turning on the roundabout to the plaza. Clue on the statues! DETOUR: Bicicleta or Boleadora.

In Bicicleta, teams must use a stationary bike connected to a grinder to shred plastic containers to fill a trash bin to receive their next clue. In Boleadora, teams have 10 attempts to wrap a bole around a moving bull target.

Ricky & Cesar and Juan & Shane both do the accuracy task. Angie & Danny's goal is to SURVIVE the mega leg, not be 1st.

Amber & Vinny's goal is to leech onto Angie & Danny... how disappointing. They arrive as well as Rod & Leticia. They all grab the Detour clue.

All three choose the Boleadores and they all want to go together. Is this kindergarten?

Ricky & Cesar arrive at the boleadora site. They re-read the instructions and see that they each have to get a target within the 10 attempts. Ricky goes first while Cesar is waiting from behind. Ricky fails.

Yvonne & Mel, Sunny & Bizzy, and Derek & Shelisa leave in the last group. They all point out they are going alongside the river.

Juan & Shane arrive quickly at the boleadores and Shane strategies to wrap the bole around the bull target's legs. Yvonne & Mel want to ask for directions while Derek & Shelisa are busy reading the map. Yvonne & Mel find the Detour clue. They do the boles.

Ricky & Cesar v.s Juan & Shane at the Detour for a little bit. Group 2 is arriving. Rod & Leticia, Angie & Danny, and Amber & Vinny see the guys. Danny convinces everyone to switch and strings Rod & Leticia along... can we stop with whatever they're doing...

Sunny & Bizzy receive directions. Sunny doesn't know entirely where they are going.

Cesar and Shane both score their targets.

Juan launches the bole and does it!!! 1st place currently for them. ROUTE INFO: Circuito Lobo Race.

"Getting done with the Detour before Ricky & Cesar was huge." - Shane

Ricky still going while Group 2 gets to the stationary bikes choice.

Amber & Vinny hauling azz with the bottles as Vinny starts pedaling. Rod is enjoying this so much!  They have to sweep up their pieces from what Amber said.

Ricky hits the target on his second seventh throw. They move on in 2nd as Yvonne & Mel arrive at the bulls.

Sunny & Bizzy choose the bikes.

Amber says "it's a marathon". Angie says Danny is competing against an NFL pro and talk about switching positions. Vinny is struggling and Amber is absolutely stunned. They switch as well. "Once you get a bottle in the middle, it gets extremely jammed." - Vinny.

Vinny tries shoving Amber's right foot down the bike because it's not budging. "What's wrong with our bike?" - Amber

We come back to Tour de Trash as Amber & Vinny can't SoulCycle their recyclables quickly enough. "Something's wrong with our bike, babe". Amber explains the rings of the bottles pauses the momentum. They have to pedal back and forth to get the pieces all the way through like a large-scale crusher.

Derek & Shelisa arrive at the boles while Yvonne & Mel are attempting their throws. They miss the first round.

Vinny points out Rod is a beast at the bike. "Thunder thighs" - Leticia. They end up finishing in 3rd. They... wait for the other two. 

Juan & Shane and Ricky & Cesar are making their gap even larger. Meanwhile, Sunny & Bizzy are heading to the Detour still. "This is like for the earth." - Sunny.

As Vinny & Amber and Angie & Danny still bike, Rod & Leticia are looking for directions from a local on a map. The other two finish up in 4th and 5th. They all leave together.

Shelisa tossing the boles and catches her half of the bole! Melissa is struggling. Shelisa questions what Derek is doing with his bole. Yvonne gets a catch while Melissa still misses. Both have to start over.

Sunny & Bizzy are at the bikes. Sunny thinks everyone else is stuck at the other Detour... or they are in dead last.

Derek & Shelisa are arguing about giving each other cues. And Yvonne & Melissa end up getting their attempts successfully! They leave toward Circuito in 6th. Shelisa sees Derek still finagling with the bole and says they are done and need to follow their original gut instinct.

So, the rally challenge is this part of the megaleg RB and the soccer task of the second one. Also the meat and the finger tips challenges are the sides of the second Detour.

We return to Derek throwing his last bole and Shelisa forcing him to switch. "Your throws were completely off. You weren't even close!"- Shelisa

Juan is asking for directions in Spanish and they are 10 minutes away. Ricky & Cesar arrive at the circuit racing field. ROADBLOCK: "Who's got a good sense of direction?"

One team member must memorize a sequence of turns their driver makes and recreate the dusty path on a board to receive their next clue.

Ricky does the task and is immediately strapped into the rally car. He loves the experience and Cesar is taken aback.

Ricky says they only have THREE minutes to finish the path puzzle. Ricky couldn't figure it out he says in his post-clarity confessional.

Amber wants to follow Danny. Aha, so we have the main offenders. Vinny says it's not always a good idea.

Juan & Shane arrive at the RB and Juan does it. Ricky needs to redo everything, track and all. 2nd attempt at the board. Juan is taken on a full-throttle ride. Juan has experience mapping out routes and paths.

Sunny & Bizzy finish the bike shredding in 7th. Juan is going for his first attempt at the puzzle while Ricky is closing his eyes and memorizing the turning of the car. Juan is crazy good at the puzzle and finished up the path accurately!!! They move on quickly.

Derek & Shelisa start biking while Angie & Danny, Rod & Leticia, and Amber & Vinny all arrive at the same time. Amber, Angie, and Leticia do the task. Ricky is getting frustrated as he keeps failing the puzzle portion.
