And we are on the big screen!!

Previously on TAR, 11 teams flew into Guatape, Colombia and military pilot Juan treasured a return to his home country. Vinny's strategy at the RB paid off for a 2nd place slide-in. Sean confronted his greatest fear. Cesar's culinary skills helped Ricky and him win the leg. Meanwhile, twins Anthony & Bailey's indecisiveness costed them the race.

We see shots of Medellin and Kishori & Karishma soaring above the sky. I guess they're first today. Phil reminds they are starting in three departure groups. Amber & Vinny and Angie & Danny are shown flying the skies. Derek is scareed and Shelisa asks someone to put em back up there? Leticia is scared of gliding.

Leticia wants her daughters to look up to her as a superhero. Sean is screwed. Michelle's mantra is "keep going, don't quit". They know how to stay the course. Sean conquers his fears once more.

Sean says there was no moment where he was fearful because the beauty of the Colombian landscape overwhelmed him. Yvonne & Mel and Juan & Shane shots. Sunny & Bizzy and Ricky & Cesar right behind. Teams make a landing. So what is going on?

They really don't want teams to eat, sleep and mingle together due to COVID-19 protocols so they have to provide distractions.

We return to Group 1 (finally) leaving consisting of Ricky & Cesar and Amber & Vinny.. ROUTE INFO: Comuna 13 en Reversadero #1 near the base of the escalator.

Amber & Vinny jet set to 1st while Ricky & Cesar are behind. The boyfriends feel intimidated by them, but their goal is to stay in the first group no matter what. Vinny wants to compete and knock em down to 2nd.

Derek & Shelisa, Juan & Shane, Yvonne & Mel, and Sunny & Bizzy leave in group 2. Juan says Medellin changed so much since he grew up them. He talks about potentially coincidentally running into his aunt in the city. Derek & Shelisa aren't changing their strategy. Yvonne & Melissa thinks Shelisa is going on a Sunday afternoon drive. The girlfriends are hoping to move up spots.

Group 3 depart quickly.

Danny is speaking in Spanish. Angie- "Pass" to the taxi driver. Karishma reveals she is a licensed skydiver and she wants to enjoy her life. Sunny & Bizzy feel they aren't performing as well as they can. They discuss raising their babies back home. Michelle & Sean are confident.

Amber & Vinny arrive in traffic, right in front of Ricky & Cesar. They ask for directions to the escalators. "Three blocks".  Amber asks Vinny to slow down. They split off between a fork in the road. They arrive at the base, but can't see the cluebox.

Juan & Shane see the marked flags to the base. Ricky & Cesar run up to the clue box and Vinny sees them. DETOUR: Dance Vibes or Wall Scribe.

In Dance Vibes, teams must get in sync with breakdancers for 30 seconds to earn the next clue. In Wall Scribe, teams must identify a rebus puzzle on murals across the city and recite it to local artist Chota 13 to receive the next clue.

"You cannot walk or run on the escalators." oooh, potential penalty for someone?

Ricky & Cesar say there is supposed to be 7 of these puzzles, but there are 8.

Juan & Shane arrive at the Detour clue in 3rd. They choose the breakdancers. Juan says he's never been to this cultural epicenter before. Yvonne & Mel and Derek & Shelisa run to the base. Shelisa identifies a museum, not the base.

Yvonne & Me arrive at the clue in 4th then Yellow in 5th. They choose the dancers.

Ricky & Cesar and Amber & Vinny are both still searching while Rod & Leticia start running to the base with Angie & Danny right behind *walking specifically for her.

Juan & Shane arrive at the breakdance learning area. "It's like line dancing." - Shane. Juan says to break the sequence down into pieces.

Ricky & Cesar find the race flags on the murals. They start to decode the message rather quickly. "The world is smaller/bigger than you." Amber & Vinny following right behind. "Earth or world?" - Amber.

"The world is bigger than you... dream... imagine..." - Ricky

Meanwhile, Rod & Leti arrive at the clue in 6th. Rod is doing the dance as a pro. Leticia's strong suit is not dance.

Kishori & Karishma run up the stairs and Angie & Danny are pointing out the base, but don't see it.

Danny explains the cluebox was super difficult to spot. He wants to make up time, but are genuinely confused where to go.

The rebus puzzle is literally a five-minute Detour and the graffiti images are neither far apart nor out of order to test teams' memory/creativity. Cool concept, careless execution.

the rebus puzzle detour is nice but it could spread and be random more than they did there, but i assume they couldnt have permission to have gravity walls out of that range so they had to do in order

We come back to Point Nowhere as Angie & Danny are still wondering where they are going. Ricky & Cesar go for a first attempt at the phrase.  "The world is bigger than your evil thoughts." - Cesar

Amber says "the world is smaller than you."

Derek & Shelisa arrive at the breakdancing studio. They follow Juan & Shane's pattern. Yvonne & Melissa also arrive, but Yvonne is immediately thrown off by the rhythm.

Amber says "the world is smaller than you think" and is CORRECT! She thinks the muralist is giving her a spray can to graffiti the wall. She gets the clue.

ROUTE INFO: Plaza Botero.

Ricky & Cesar trial and error their way into 2nd place.

Rod & Leticia are joining the breakdance team. Leticia says this is so hard.

Derek says Shelisa is the dancer at home, but argue on the spot about not being able to teach him if she doesn't understand the sequence as well.

Amber & Vinny and Ricky & Cesar rushing down the stairs. Amber is worn out by Vinny's persistence of pushing her to run faster. Kishori & Karishma arrives at the DT clue in 7th followed by Angie & Danny in 8th. The cousins rush to the dance while Danny is obsessed with puzzles.

Michelle & Sean are outrun by Sunny & Bizzy to the first clue box.

"You want a dance challenge! We got a freaking dance challenge!"- Kishori

Ricky & Cesar keep repeating "permiso".

Amber is distraught about Vinny asking for more and more from her and Amber is breaking down feeling like a burden. She'd rather be last if that's the case and wants him to leave her alone for a moment.

We return to Amber trying to handle the pressure. Vinny says they both are type A-OCD. Amber wants to bring down the tempo a little bit and are talking this out.

Sunny & Bizzy are doing the rebus while Michelle & Sean are dancing.

"Feeling like it's 1992!" - Sean. They are at an advantage with their experience.

"I eat rebus puzzles for breakfast." - Danny. He is shouting "SMALLER THAN YOU! BIGGER THAN YOU!".

Juan & Shane go for their first try and mess up.

Danny & Angie try their rebus analysis and move up to 3rd! Damn!


Sunny & Bizzy arrive at the murals. "Double H hockey sticks around the world and now they're doing yoga." They see an ohm sign.

Juan & Shane complete their second attempt at the breakdancing and absolutely kill it. They leave in 4th. Michelle & Sean, Yvonne & Mel, Derek & Shelisa, and Rod & Leticia go all in for their first attempt.

Derek & Shelisa are first at it and Derek is off rhythm.

Rod hypes the crowd up and messes up himself.

We come back to Sunny & Bizzy saying "those who wander are not lost". That's prophetic, but not it.

Amber & Vinny and Ricky & Cesar are stuck in traffic to the plaza.

Michelle & Sean and Yvonne & Mel learning the moves as well as Kishori & Karishma studying in the background.

Rod & Leticia go for another attempt, but Leticia is throwing him off.

Derek & Shelisa try another attempt. Derek has a whole new respect for breakdancers. They are approved and leave in 5th.

Yvonne & Melissa try their first attempt. Yvonne is embarrassed to be dancing like that as a Latin woman.

Michelle & Sean don't got it either.

Kishori & Karishma treat it like Dance Dance Revolution.

All teams are struggling, especially Rod who is frustrated. Leticia says it's embarrassing that he made a decision without her input. Not their best move.

This leg is reinforcing why I (in the small chance) would never choose a dance task if it was optional.

We return to Rod's breakdown at the breakdance circle. Leticia says watching the other teams is a distraction and focusing on the background dancers instead. Kishori & Karishma dancing in the meantime.

Rod & Leti go for another attempt and move on in 6th. Rod is excited as can be!

Sunny & Bizzy still confused with numerous interpretations of messages. "Through travel, I find myself wondering."

Michelle & Sean COMPLETE the dance in 7th. Sean is celebrating!

Derek & Shelisa are stuck in traffic with motorcyclists and drivers honking at the police. Juan & Shane's driver is taking them on another Detour. Angie & Danny says this is why they deserve to be here, being able to run their own race? Cesar looking at photos on Google of Plaza Botero.

Amber & Vinny strategize ahead of time. Amber wants to do the RB and doesn't want Vinny to pressure him. They arrive first at the site. "Who's feeling artsy?"

One team member must do a Fernando Botero-inspired challenge, placing 12 names of these bronze sculptures on a map correctly to receive the next clue.

Amber re-explains the tasks matching the peg. She's not directionally inclined.

Amber realizes some sculptures are blocks down and the names are tricky to memorize.

Sunny & Bizzy making some headway. "The world is smaller than I thought." They come up with some of the best phrases that's for sure.

Kishori & Karishma finish the dance in 8th. Yvonne & Melissa are feeling the pressure and are approved too. 9th currently.

Amber running around and feeling a bit insecure. She wants to love herself for who she is and her strengths. She's relaying the museum as a keystone for her memorize the sculptures.

We return to the oracles Sunny & Bizzy wanting to give up their part-time prophet jobs. Bizzy says this is one of the most frustrating moments. They ultimately switch and are the only ones dancing. They're giving it 100%

Ricky laying the sculptures on the boards now. Amber wanting to change a couple statues on the pegs before going for a check.

Angie & Danny arrive at the RB in 3rd.

Amber is correct on the first try!!! ROUTE INFO: Race on foot to your next Pit Stop! Parques del Rio Medellin! Last team to check in WILL be eliminated.

"Let's freaking go." - Amber. They ask for directions from a tourist.

Ricky also gets it! 2nd currently. Vinny and Cesar both asking for direcciones.

Amber & Vinny's lady is taking forever to get off her phone. Amber decides to help Danny... yikes. No, no, no.

Danny & Angie are appreciative of Amber & Vinny's help. Sigh.

Vinny feels the energy they receive will be awarded tenfold. (Not by me though.)

Sunny & Bizzy are still dancing while Danny is skipping to the statues and is following Amber's advice.

Danny is alliance-obsessed at this point. Angie says he is in his element today.

Derek & Shelisa arrive at the sculptures RB. Shelisa does the RB. She can't find the map right in front of her. Worse than Fran & Barry's clue box miss.

Amber and Vinny's race instincts were bad. They got flustered that asking for directions took too long so they... took even longer before asking again and gave up on first place? Helping Danny saved him all of two minutes.

Rod & Leti arrive at the plaza right in front of Juan & Shane. Juan and Rod do the RB. Danny calls for a check.

Rod and Juan work together. Double yikes.

Danny is incorrect on one and has to go back to find the error.

Ricky & Cesar arrive at the Pit Stop! They are TEAM NUMBER ONE! They win $2,500 each!

The boyfriends are saying the real secrets are being flexible, adaptable, and enjoy the run.

"Cat has a big head."- Shelisa

Michelle & Sean and Kishori & Karishma arrive in 7th and 8th at the RB. Karishma and Michelle do the task. Karishma is also Roadblock-tricked once more with her skillset not matching up.

Yvonne & Mel arrive in 9th and Yvonne volunteers.

Shane (oops) and Rod following each other studying the sculptures.

Karishma is running like a chicken with her head cut off.

Michelle can't see which way the map goes. Danny checks again and is correct! Clue bagged.

Amber & Vinny arrive at the Pit Stop. TEAM NUMBER TWO! Vinny says he wouldn't run the race with anyone else. He motivates Amber with some words of wisdom.

Yvonne, Karishma, and Shelisa all struggling.

Sunny & Bizzy get the dancing to a tee and move onward in last!

Shane and Rod get it wrong together. "Two minds are better than one, I hope that gives us an edge." - Juan.

Shelisa is incorrect on ALL of these pegs. She can't orient herself and realizes her mistake.

Karishma is in distress while Michelle explains the order isn't the problem, but the orientation.

Angie & Danny arrive on the mat. "Phil, I'm coming for you!" TEAM NUMBER THREE! They say this was a great day.

Shane and Rod call for a third check. Juan & Shane move on in 4th while Rod is incorrect. "He said I'm wrong!". And this is why I dislike teams helping each other on Roadblocks... Rod & Leticia also move on in 5th.

Michelle is wrong on all fronts.

Shelisa and Karishma mostly wrong on the board.

Rod & Leticia and Juan & Shane looking for Phil in every direction. They split directions to find Phil. "I'd rather play Where's Waldo?." - Leticia.

Rod & Leticia arrive on the mat as TEAM NUMBER FOUR arguing. She says it'll take him to buy her something to forgive.

Juan & Shane are TEAM NUMBER FIVE.

Shelisa realizes the pattern of where things were.

Yvonne calls for a check and moves on in 6th! Shelisa is also correct and leave in 7th. Michelle is wrong. Sean doesn't understand what is going wrong. Kishori points out the orientation issue everyone's been having. Sean says he married Michelle because she is a fighter.

Sunny & Bizzy arrive and Kishori is having a panic attack. Sunny does the RB.

"It seemed like an impossible task." - Michelle

Karishma tears up as someone is blocking the plaque from her view. Kishori and Karishma are pressuring each other hard.

Commercials and Phil asking for applications from racers.

God I love the cousins constantly fluctuating between 0 and 100. Kishori isn't even doing the Roadblock but she's more emotive than half the participating team members

We return to Michelle calling for an unsuccessful check. Kishori & Karishma in a state of emergency while Sunny has a landscape architect aspiration and it's going to pay off for her big time.

Michelle doesn't understand why the building isn't next to the cat.

Derek & Shelisa arrive on the mat. Shelisa believes she is last with Phil's spiel. They are TEAM NUMBER SIX. Tricked successfully.

Yvonne & Melissa come in from behind as TEAM NUMBER SEVEN.

Sunny starts arranging the points together while Karishma behind. Sunny is CORRECT!! She moves on in 8th.

Karishma feels defeated with still incorrect pegs. Michelle doesn't know what's going on. All incorrect still. "Stay focused. Stay calm!" - Sean

Sunny & Bizzy almost pass Phil and are TEAM NUMBER EIGHT! Bizzy thought they were done.

"I'm in college. I can do this." - Karishma being instilled by her parents' motivation.

Michelle is cross referencing the map still. Karishma rushes to correct her mistake. "I just want her to get the clue. I'm nervous." - Kishori

Kishori & Karishma pass in 9th! Michelle is stunned.

Kishori & Karishma cut scene on the mat. They are TEAM NUMBER NINE by the skin of their teeth. Karishma said she couldn't give up for Kishori.

Michelle is correct finally as night settles in.

Michelle & Sean are the last team to arrive and have been eliminated from the race. Sean wants their kids to see them "going for it". Phil wants a Double Dutch lessons from the two. Michelle feels they are leaving with fulfilled love.

Oh. My. Gosh. Phil doing the ropes. "That'll make the cut." End credits.
